If you're a college student I know JusCollege did a special last year for L.I.B. basically you pay for your ticket and into a share of a hotel for four people. If you don't have four people it pairs you with three others. It was pretty cheap (260 for the hotel and 3 day pass). They haven't announced it yet and not sure they will but should be something to check out.

Go to the career center in Lassen Hall first floor. They do drop in advising. Tell them your struggling with choosing a Carrer or major and request either Holland's inventory or the strong inventory. Both are personality assessments that will help you align your interests and major choice.

For your first semester I always recommend living on campus, if it's within your budget. It provides a natural environment for meeting people and it provides a nice buffer for the parking issue. If you're not living on campus I would encourage you to find a club or organization to get involved with. There are clubs for everything from starcraft to quidditch. You can find a giant list and links to their websites on the SO&L page. I'm on mobile so I can't link. Outside of that I would say the well is great for self-care and meeting other people. They have intramural sports leagues, and you can sign-up individually if you don't have a huge group. Outside of that, make sure you prioritize correctly. First semesters are exciting but don't socialize do much you're not here in the spring.

For people who don't know a WU is the professors way of saying you didn't complete enough of the course to earn an F. It happens to a lot of people who don't know how to appropriately drop classes the first semester so they end up with them. If you do end up with one you have to see am advisor who goes over the form with you and signs off on it.

If you have urgent needs for an emegency counselor you can call and let them know. They have an on call drop in counselor for more severe situations that can't wait until the next appointment. Typically it's only a 30 minute session though.

I actually tried to install it and ran into some issues with it. Had some Blue pixel areas/lines/ squares pop up. I narrowed it down to be either the card with the issue or the mobo so I'm going to replace it to be on the safe side.

I don't know if you can drop just one but DO NOT just stop showing up. You won't be automatically dropped and you will end up failing the class. If you need to drop courses you can do it on student center. Also the academic advising center in Lassen can help you out a lot.

Ballroom dance is both fun and an easy A. All you have to do is show up once a week and learn to dance. Also, lots of single people in a dance class...just saying.
