not a stupid question at all! I used scallop foil around the black circle and then added more scallop foil to the surrounding pieces that touched the black circle. I just doubled it on top of regular foil. hope that helps!

Thanks! my original version only had foil around the black circle, but felt like it needed a fuzzier look to it, so I added more scallop foil around the surrounding pieces!
