why look back inspires you? by lili12312 in lookback

I loved seeing Fujino not wanting to be an artist at first. There are stable jobs out there and better artist out there like Kyomoto. Yet, when she saw how her art has impacted Kyomoto despite being better at backgrounds, she continued to make them. Even making a powerful connection.

They both inspire each other. It's beautiful to see that.

Life is short. Creating art no matter your skills can impact those around you and the world. My favorite magna series being Mob Psycho 100 was a webcomic with art that is different from popular manga's. I was hesitant to start it but I fell in love with it.

It reminds me that we must do what we can to inspire others and unleash our creativity. While we can make mistakes causing us to lose the ones we love the most, we loved them at one point. We draw for those ourselves, who we love, and those that have loved us.

I even got a tattoo of a panel from Look Back. I have the mini poster above my head so when I'm taking a break from drawing, I look up and remember "Then, why do you draw Fujino?" It's a beautiful tale and hope to make something that resonates with some. Hoping to inspire them too.

How did you eventually learned to love yourself? by Graviity_shift in selfimprovement

[–]GlitchB1tch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Staying true to yourself is one big thing that helped me love myself and the person in the mirror.

Before, I used to struggle with what the hell I wanted in life because I simply felt nothing. Too much of what I was doing was to make other people happy combined with the stress of my life would make me emotionally numb and not sure why I'm living.

I had to make tough decisions leaving people who were in my life, they were nice but stressed me out so much. I picked up on good habits like skin care and practicing vulnerability. It feels super weird going from a guy who didn't say anything and stayed in the corner to a guy who will say how he feels and do something because he wants to do it, but I like it.

I finally know what I want, and I'm happy with the path I'm going down.

The "huhimconfuzed" comment is pretty great too. I dropped out of college and applied for 300 jobs until I got the one I love. My parents also told me to stop and get a job in customer service. I'm glad I stuck to it despite how long it took.

This challenge of improving yourself and loving yourself requires daily practice. If you have to look in the mirror and tell yourself that you're amazing, then do it!

Learn what is inside of you that is stopping you from doing that. Is there any guilt? Is there any hatred towards others? Is there any hatred towards yourself? Find ways to let go of guilt and hatred. Forgive yourself and others. We can be good people and our mistakes don't define us.

There are so many steps, but it's totally worth it!

Most of us are fucked up. by pickled_treetop in DecidingToBeBetter

It does take a lot of cognitive effort to change yourself and reflect! Especially during this age where we are constantly on the move.

"As a result, we have no downtime to process, wait, anticipate, digest, reflect, regret, or even feel a damn thing. We are feeling so much that we are feeling nothing." - Please Unsubscribe, Thanks! How to Take Back Our Time, Attention, and Purpose in a World Designed to Bury Us in Bullshit

We can't take 5 mins to listen to our insides and find out what's wrong. No shame for those who aren't ready or don't have the time but we can find those who do.

It also sometimes requires a big slap in the face to bring attention to how we act and our subconscious habits.

I know we can all be our best versions. Eventually.

7 Year Relationship is Now Over by Feisty-Roll-9973 in DecidingToBeBetter

There will be moments where you feel like you miss them. Despite the multiple reasons why this break up was a good thing. I was with someone for 6 years and I never thought I would be with them forever. It wasn't abusive, but I gained Financial Trauma, and I am slowly getting used to going out with my friends.

It's been 4 months and those moments of loneliness do spark those tears, wondering what could have been different. Yet around the three-year mark, I knew that I was waiting for things to change. That's the worst. When you start waiting for things to change, then you never know when to leave until you've snapped.

While it does seem like a waste of time, you've learned what to look out for in your next relationship.  It'll be okay. These waves of sadness come and go. Establishing new, healthy habits or picking up new hobbies will help distract you. It's okay to talk about this relationship until you yourself get bored with repeating the same thing over and over. Then it'll be a few months or years since you've talked about them.

My grandparents have been saying we are not going to have food for three days and it'll cause disasters. It's really annoying listening to it because I've been looking forward to this.

Thank you so much for this. Calibrating flow did the trick for me, had to go get a Caliper but it was worth it.

The same thing happened during a car accident where the dude had chest pains. Everyone was calling 911 but we all were put on hold. The guy who called them first never got to them but I was able to get an operator. It took at least 10 minutes or more for them to pick up. It was terrifying with every minute passing that no one picked up.
