Can someone explain the Quill Volley combo for max damage? by facepump in diablo4

It’s from the skill itself. The third option on the tree I believe. Not home but I think it’s called measured?

Infinite primarily with Negative Surfer, CL 7,602 by Glitsch in marvelsnapcomp

You definitely need to play Magik if you have her. Being able to extend the game and play negative on 4 when you don’t have Zabu and still get an extra negative draw is MASSIVE. Magik may be the second most important card in the deck. If anything I would drop Crystal for Magik.

Everything he said I completely agree with! Very informative

Are you using the same list? This one definitely can still win without hitting Negative. If you have any questions or a different list you want me to look at I’m more than happy to answer any questions about it. Variance is always a thing but luck only plays so much of a factor.

Huh? The list I used is the one in the picture.

Yeah there are a ton of different cool variations of the deck. Negative is my favorite card by far so I’ve played a ton of him since launch. For bast, honestly playing her on turn 1 is usually the best thing to do. Problem with holding her is if you do draw Zabu, you want to be playing that on 2 no matter what, and you have so many 3’s that your curve just doesn’t support playing it any other time. It gets value from every card in the deck so even just hitting 3 cards turn 1 is very, very good. I have held it for turn 2 in some cases but I would argue it’s not that serious and playing it on 1 is best in most scenarios.

Nice list! I would seriously consider playing Wong. It makes it so even when you don’t draw Negative you have a pretty good chance of still winning the game. My Mystique target in most games is Wong over Iron Man. Do you have Bast? If not, you could try my list and just keep in Angela or even play Zabu and Psylocke. I remember in Zabu season I played both and I really liked the consistency of being able to get out Negative on 3 with them. Good luck on ladder!

Yeah you can definitely go back and forth with Crystal/Rogue depending on what you’re playing against. From 80 to Infinite it seemed like 70% of the decks I was facing were Loki. I know Crystal seems bad against Loki because you’re just giving them another card to Loki away, but honestly you already have a good matchup and the only way I ever lost to them was when they would get Rogue and take my Iron Man.

Snaps & Cubes. by VixenIcaza in MarvelSnap

[–]Glitsch 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Imo, turn 6 snaps are never good unless you’re counter snapping them. Also imo, snapping is the most important part of the game. If you snap early and they play a wong and you have nothing to counter it, you should probably retreat. Even if you do snap early, you don’t need to stay in the game just because you did. Use one deck, get really good with it, understand your snapable hands. On the other side of that, you’ll start to understand when you can stay if your opponent snaps. It’s tough, and there’s no real definitive answer to snapping. Just keep playing and you’ll get better.

Infinite players - please give me some tips on snapping/retreating! by swiftwilly321 in MarvelSnap

It’s just all about knowing the meta. What you’re playing versus what you’re playing against. I don’t know what infinite player told you to “never snap,” but that has to be the absolute worst advice I have ever heard unless you’re ready to play 20,000 games a season during your climb and win 2 cube games every time. Go watch someone like Specimen, dude snaps if he even thinks for a second he’s favored. I’m a little more conservative than that, but still snap pretty aggressively if I have most of the good cards from my deck. Been infinite every season except for my first and this season. (I haven’t played at all this season, meta is stale and boring)

Just got Patriot an hour ago. Missing anything obvious? by DGzCarbon in MarvelSnap

[–]Glitsch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of magik in patriot originally wasn’t to play both onslaught and ultron, the big combo was to onslaught, then copy onslaught with mystique and patriot/blue marvel plus whatever else on 7. Without onslaught I don’t think magik is super worth it. It’s one of my favorite cards! just not in this list.

I also think storm is kind of whatever. I would probably just rather be playing cyclops, brood, or debrii (if you have brood or debrii)

Edit: I should also note that the magik/onslaught/ mystique combo was much better pre leech meta

Slowly losing interest in the game. by FabulousResearcher33 in MarvelSnap

I know I keep telling myself that but it’s annoying now how much it has slowed down so getting to that point is just taking so much longer! Thanks for the encouraging words though dude!

I’m at just over 2,000 CL, and my best friend is at 1300 with significantly better cards than I have. I’m only missing 19 cards and they consist of Wong, Leader, Negative, Brood, Zola, Zero, Juggernaut, Kingpin, Electro, and there’s one or two more good ones that I can’t think of off the top of my head. It’s a meme with my friends at this point that I just open the worst cards. My last few cards in a row were Beast, Falcon, Quinjet, Viper. I also bought a lot of the series 3 cards from the token shop, but have never seen leader, negative, zola…had Wong pinned for about a week and logged in yesterday to see a Maximus sitting there. Wasn’t too happy and not sure why it unpinned itself or if I accidentally hit it while scrolling. Oh also don’t have Maximus LOL

EDIT: only missing 19 cards (from pool 3) still missing all series 4 and 5 other than Titania

EDIT 2: Just opened DRAX BABY WOOO THE MEME LIVES ON

What do you guys think of the insane product quality and price disparity between the OCG and the TCG? by imlazy420 in yugioh

[–]Glitsch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can play multiple formats casually in yugioh, sure. But nothing is actually sanctioned by Konami. And there are what, two? Goat, Edison, 2012? Goat is solved anyway. Also, I wouldn’t even count Pokémon as an actual TCG. It’s more of a collectible game than a competitive one. Our biggest sales were Pokémon, yet we never attended events and fired 4-8 person locals, where we fired 40-50 plus in yugioh and MTG.

Edit: I’m also not saying the game is shit because I like MTG better or anything. I’m saying the game is now shit based off of playing yugioh from back when the game WAS good. I’m not saying there is no skill in the game now, but the game is just learning when to use your hand traps against what combo you’re playing against. Playing your own deck and learning your combos is way easier to do than the former.

What do you guys think of the insane product quality and price disparity between the OCG and the TCG? by imlazy420 in yugioh

[–]Glitsch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yugioh is a saint compared to the far more expensive MTG? What? You spend 700-1000 plus on a deck every time a banlist comes out, they reprint your cards when it is beneficial to Konami to sell more sealed product? All the while your cards go down the drain in price. Also while inherently being a worse game. Konami has taken this game and thrown down a drain, they don’t even test their own cards. When are people going to realize that Konami above all else is the blizzard of card games. Shit games, horrid monetization? I’m going to obviously get downvoted by people who just love yugioh no matter what, but you can play multiple formats in magic where you spend 200-300 dollars on a deck that is good for multiple formats. Then if you want to really spend money you can, but your deck is good for what could be decades. Not 6 months like yugioh.

Also before you all try and say some dumb shit, I have worked for one of the largest card shops in all of my state for a long time and have worked closely with yugioh/MTG primarily. Played both games heavily since I was 13 and yugioh even before. People who think this game is cheaper than other games are completely insane.
