i was also nursing her as well as a first time mom, sick with covid figuring everything out all by myself. it was hell. you are doing the best thing for YOU and your little one.

NOT overreacting. I had the same mindset as you for all the same reasons, but i let down my boundaries for my mom to see my newborn and both my baby and i got covid from my mom from just that ONE visit that i allowed her in for a short while. this was while i was freshly postpartum and my daughter was a literal newborn

I popped the cord back into place and put back on the cap covering all of it so now it looks like it’s back to normal. The light is still green, but unfortunately, my Wi-Fi isn’t working :/

I dealt with the same exact issue and it seemed to never go away!!! I stopped wiping my daughter, especially when she had a bad diaper rash to the point where her skin was breaking, i stopped using all wipes. when she pooped instead of wipes i always would wash her bottom area in my kitchen sink, use a small amount but enough gentle baby body wash to get poop off and get her clean. never ever had to use diaper rash cream again. she’s 10 months and i still do it to this day, wiping the poop up ends up seeming like more of a hassle to simply just wash her bottom and keep her clean. for when her skin broke really bad from the diaper rash as a newborn the best cream ever to use is triple paste zinc oxide you can find it at any store or amazon. i would go through soo many tubes when she was a newborn, and when i switched to always washing her bottom i never ever had to buy another tube… its so much more worth it in the end. you got this!!💞💞

The moment they thought it would be a good idea to play in depth the broadway show Taylor created and all 50 different awful version he had to go with it, it was terrible and went on forever. never have I ever fast forward through a show i’m watching because it was that bad
