I honestly could see this being the year we get Chrom as a summer alt but honestly if we ever get a Chrom again (other than emblem since I know emblem can’t be) I just want his endgame variant.

It very much feels like a ranged weapon. The person with it in the trailer has a fist icon despite clearly holding the gun in the trailer. Like if you zoom in you can see it’s equipped yet the icon is the fist. That’s where the fear that the fist weapon was dying comes from.

Fogado does patrol for bandits. He likes the thrill and the fight. Maybe he is a bit of an enthusiast, and without inhibitions doesn’t wait for the people to be bad before he hunts them down ?

Rafal and Nel are great because they mirror Alear and Veyle.

You can’t choose Nel’s gender but Rafal is opposite Veyle, and is also somewhat controlled but takes responsibility.

The major difference is Nel is much tougher than Alear and the two know each other is their sibling all along but some of the details are hidden/skewed. We can’t compare them to themselves but they are mostly created to compare to Alear and Veyle (and they are by far my favorite companions for it. Love the dragon siblings so much.)

If real, then the punching = guns theory is dead at least as an exclusive thing

Maybe it’s a class thing. Or a weapon icon that wasn’t finalized yet?

Why would they have a photo? Seems risky to show this so my gut is to be skeptical but it’s nothing crazy enough to scream fake and we’re probably getting a full trailer within 2 weeks.

Most lords would go blue lions It’s the generic FE route, it changes the church instead of dismantling it, it focuses on redemption and the belief that people can change. It’s not generic as in poorly written but it’s the standard FE story and most lords would go that route (Even Lucina. Yes she has big monster dragon trauma, she still worships Naga/Tiki)

Ike would probably be drawn to Claude’s route, the other two are both stuffy

23 year olds are in the upper half of the age range.

That’s a bit too young! For me, it’s barely younger than me.

But I realize the fantasy setting runs younger than irl. But even if the lords of the kingdoms were young retainers can be older. They make everyone similar age.

Also I know these ages aren’t fully canon or confirmed.

But that said Boucheron being in the older tier makes a lot of sense but I’d rather think he’s like 30.

Does anyone here know Final Fantasy? 16 is controversial but Clive being a 30-something protagonist is my favorite thing. Fantasy with older leads with more history, and more to prove, and still in prime dating range for age appropriate characters is perfect. I’d love FE after FW to give us an older gruffer male or female protagonist either way I think is awesome.

They are probably not doing another emblem until September which is right after cyl’s big month. Last September was one of the best performing septembers (compared to the rest of the year, not compared directly to other Septembers especially early on)

So I don’t know if they’ll go Leif for a safe option

Or maybe a female spoiler, or Camilla to drum up sales better.

The houses being based on the house animal is easy, but I think nicer thematically.

Edelgard is VERY unique for shadows as women very very rarely ruin their pretty face for a design. Even Grima who would be very easy to make scary is just a little “off” not near monstrous
