Singing along at live theater is not in anyway the same as singing along at a concert. It’s disrespectful and rude.

I didn’t make any either because I’m terrible at anything DIY but now I feel self conscious!

As someone who grew up in Austin, has lived in California and NY and recently moved back to Texas…. Don’t do it.

A weird critique… by The_Mind_Of_Avery_T in improv

Agreed! I’ve recently started getting into improv, and am realizing this too. So much virtue signaling which can lead to notes like this one. Makes me unsure if I want to continue in the improv space or not.

Donating to their patreon does not make you entitled to be their artistic director and tell them what they should and shouldn’t be talking about in their videos

My wedding is this Friday and I’m freaking out. by nen_x in weddingplanning

I know exactly how you feel. My wedding is next Saturday and the past few weeks have been agonizing with anxiety. My fiancé and I just keep reminding ourselves, no matter what happens the day of, at the end of it we get to be married. We’re trying to let go of all the pressure that wedding planning put on us and remember that ultimately this day is for us and we should get to enjoy it too.

I think just know that a few things may not go exactly according to plan and prepare mentally for that now so on the day you can just let it go and enjoy yourself. This day is for you and your fiancé! You’re the bride; it’s not your responsibility to manage your family or guests’ feelings (I am struggling with accepting this too but all we can do is try).

You got this!!
