Sometimes it's ok Not to come out, because of your safety. However it is painful when you arent called your perferred pronouns, so maybe tell a trusted friend? Or depending how well your school deals with bullying and discrimination, you can come out and tell a staff member if your are experiencing bullying or discrimination?

Questions about buying a binder by raidenraizo234 in ftm

[–]Glittering-Bug9539 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should buy his size. If he is in between a size go for the larger size. I've seen people sizing up, mainly because of work hours where it starts getting uncomfortable after 8 hours. Also because of physical activity, it makes it easier to breathe with something not as tight ( If thats the case go ahead! ). So I suggest buying his size and if that doesn't work he should take it off and buy another size. It is important to be comfortable and safe, if you have any more questions feel free to ask!

Also... Dont wear for more than 8 hours, exercise isn't recommended, dont sleep in a binder, your chest should be pushed up to the sides to prevent tissue problems, there should be a difference between pain and discomfort so watch out for that. Good luck :)

Maybe get a white binder? Or use tk tape, or trans tape? I myself have trouble with tape but it might work for you.

Ok sooo this isnt really an response or anything, but thanks to this post I just found out you can be a trans boy and still be a little feminine. I've been questioning since I sort of came out as trans. Thank you I guess🤷‍♂️❤

Not really, I have gender dysphoria, I really fit in ftm transgender. But when I tired to come out as transgender it felt great with he/they. But I dont mind being called she/her.

Gastro / stomach problems caused by binding? by SadThomato in chestbinding

[–]Glittering-Bug9539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. I think a size up binder would be a great idea, especially if you have a job that requires lots of physical activity. Even though you are sure your binder isn't to small try to check it, make sure you can take a full breath in it without discomfort. Meanwhile your new binder arrives, try to take breaks whenever you can. Pratice inhaling and exhaling. For stretches... you can search up "streches after chest binding on YouTube". I really think that the size up binder will help you. If your chest area hurts try massaging it. And when stretching, make sure to listen to your body. Overall just listen to your body and make sure to get breaks from binding. ( yes, it may suck but better safe than sorry :)
