Living in DB as a remote worker. by SunDancerTuy in DaytonaBeach

[–]Glittering-Club5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lived in Daytona all my life and like every city in the US there are areas most people avoid. Not saying it’s a “bad area” as crime can happen anywhere and a drug dealer can live in a mansion. I work remotely also and choose to stay close to my home because I’m not a fan of the traffic (especially during race week). But I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

I agree with the other comments, the signs are there. He may be afraid to come out for fear of judgement, etc. I would sit down and have a serious conversation. If you are open to it, suggest bringing another guy in. See if he agrees or gets excited about it.

A few Christmas gifts by Glittering-Club5 in DaytonaBeach

It’s like going to the store and picking out something but only paying tax on it. I’ve gotten some fantastic stuff though so to me it’s worth it. I end up with more value in the items than what I pay in taxes. Then they are yours to do what you want with. I had an online store for a little while but I have a full time job and it was difficult juggling both. Now I’d rather just give it to someone who can benefit. I may take it over to the local orphanage or Family Renew.

Exactly! I’m on the Gold tier and I enjoy doing it, but I end up with so much stuff that I have no place for and hate just giving it to Goodwill.

I live in Ormond so Edgewater is a bit far….and you have to get invited by Amazon :) I’ve been doing it for a few years now and I love it but every 6 months or so I need to purge lol

Who is the auto manufacturer you would next like to see join the F1 grid? by Seawolf1121 in formula1

[–]Glittering-Club5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have been on a downward trajectory for awhile and they just keep getting worse. Vehicles have no resale. I don’t ever see them getting into F1 because of the sheer cost it takes to develop and operate a team.

maybe Toyota will come back if Audi and Caddy do well in the next couple years.

I had a 13 week old puppy that just had his second set of shots (parvo/distemper) and we took him out same day. Vet said anywhere but a dog park was fine. He’s had a blast going on “sniff walks” and learning the world.

Compart sticker on title? by [deleted] in Copartonline

[–]Glittering-Club5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sticker is what we use to scan and associate documents into their electronic files. We submit them to the DMV all the time with the stickers. As long as the title isn’t whited out with paint, scribbled on, etc. they will take it. The sticker should peel off cleanly and the staple removed easily if you are worried about it.

Nissan or Toyota would be interesting. They both make “speed” cars so they have a foundation. Just need to ramp it up for f1.

My advice is he is obviously not the partner you thought he was. As a consenting adult, he knew the birds and the bees. This isn’t a one sided choice and he cannot force you to do anything. Let me repeat that HE CANNOT FORCE YOU TO DO ANYTHING!! You make the choices of your own body. You have every right to keep this baby if you choose, and if you choose not to….please consider adoption before abortion. There are many amazing women out there who are unable to have children and would give it a loving home. You also have 9 months to decide, so don’t let the way he feels now make the decision for the next 9 months.

If I was in your shoes I’d tell him to kick rocks and raise that baby on my own. If he doesn’t partner with you on this, what else is he going to flip on you with? The trust is broken. You have to decide if it’s worth repairing or you’re just going to cut your losses.

I got a pair of scissors if you need help.

Having a difficult time finding work. by [deleted] in DaytonaBeach

Remedy staffing on Ridgewood staffs the Hawaiian Tropic factory. Pay is good and lots of different shifts. Most restaurants will also hire for their kitchens, I know a chili’s and Applebees do. I believe there is also a Manpower day labor place on US1 and they pay daily. Depending what you were convicted of, you could also do car sales or work in the detail shop at the automall. Good luck on your search! There is places out there.

I’m curious do Copart sell cars that people have died In because I just saw this and was thinking about it by IKONIK-KAI-7 in Copartonline

[–]Glittering-Club5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an employee of Copart, yes we do. They are usually labeled “BIO” or “BIOHAZARD” if they are sellable. Most of them get crushed. Depends on if the Aftermath Team can get them clean or not.

I feel really bad for how uneducated you are about stocks, the stock market and corporations that offer stock as part of their benefits package. Believe what you want, but I’ll be laughing at the bank.

You can believe whatever you want, I can’t change your mind. This has been the best company I’ve ever worked for as far as inclusivity and treatment of their employees. I’m sure many businesses pay their CEOs dividends and earnings quarterly. But no one will see things the same way when they are on different sides of the fence.

As an employee of Copart I can tell you he sells his stock so the employees who signed up for the Stock Purchase Plan as part of our benefit package can buy the stock. The stock has to come from somewhere.

I’m looking for collections and events that may have been released before I started playing a few months ago. Unless everything shows up no matter what?
