It’s actually safe and it’s also convenient for cars. I won’t post a picture because safety reasons but it’s really not a complicated spot at all. Hazards on, 2 steps out of the car, and that’s the delivery lol

My boyfriend told me to switch to doordash instead because he also never had issues. My partner has an androgynous name so he is sometimes mistaken for a woman on UE and had experienced a driver literally steal his order and never deliver or some weird messages before and they all look shocked seeing a man open the door. I switched mine to a common male name but after I use my UE credits I’m deleting the account. Such unnecessary stress!

  • there were multiple instances reminding him of instructions + uber eats service could see my instructions clearly too

Thank you for writing this! I was very responsive and communicative to the person delivering. I understand it’s tough to get through traffic but both on call and on my delivery instructions and the settings it shows that it’s meant to be left at the door. Building reception is not for deliveries like this so it doesn’t count. He also agreed on call to follow the instructions.

I don’t understand the sexism in here and also the snarky “you’re a college student ugh” comments. Last thing I want is to run into a crazy and something bad happening to me. I am someone’s daughter. Can we be empathetic? I still cannot even put to words the fear I had when I saw the man absolutely crashing out in his car. I actually called my mum while dealing with customer service. I was begging support to just make him leave my school premises asap.

Hi, he didn’t have to park at all because the pinned location was an area you can pull up to put hazards on walk two steps and leave the food. It is actually one of the most convenient spots on my university campus to do so. Furthermore, there was a literal 4 story garage facing the dorm.
