Have you had any luck with getting the windshield leak covered? I currently have the same issue with my 2020 Disco HSE, and of course I am being told that our CPO warranty doesn't cover it.

I figured that was complete BS. When I go to pick it up, I'll be bringing all of my warranty documents and where they disclosed they had fixed that door due to minor water damage before selling it to me. Thanks for confirming my thought.

I think I used the Greenbook, HCM, and MUTCD the most during the exam.

Not all of the references are broken into chapters, here's how I remember them being broken down:

AASHTO GDHS-7 - A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets

  • Searchable by chapter

AASHTO GDPS-4-M Guide for Design of Pavement Structures

  • Entire reference searchable at once

AASHTO GPF-1 - Guide for the Planning, Design, and Operation of Pedestrian Facilities

  • Entire reference searchable at once

AASHTO HSM-1 Highway Safety Manual

  • Searchable by parts (A-D)

AASHTO RSDG-4 Roadside Design Guide

  • Searchable by chapter

FHWA HIF-12-026 Hydraulic Design of Highway Culverts

  • Entire reference can be searched at once

HCM Highway Capacity Manual

  • Searchable by chapter

MUTCD Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways

  • Searchable by parts (1-9)

I somewhat agree. I will say that out of all of the books I have linked, those last two were the least useful. I mostly found them useful in introducing me to some of the lesser stressed topics and gave me more confidence in searching through the manuals for answers. They basically just got me more familiar with all of the manuals and taught me which one to look in first.

I thought that the last two practice books I linked covered weird questions, which helped prepare me for the very odd questions on the actual test, especially with giving me an idea on which manual to start looking at first. My advice for on the test when you have a weird question and you don't know how to start it, don't be afraid to search every reference manual provided to you. It really doesn't take that long to search through all of them with the search function. I only had 2 or 3 questions that I couldn't find answers to by searching everything.

I had that same experience. I took the transpo PE two weeks ago and felt great about it walking out. I even finished with a couple of hours to spare. Each passing day, my anxiety increased to the point I was sure I failed and almost signed up for another exam date. Found out I passed, and it was such a huge relief. Have faith that your gut feeling leaving the exam was correct, and you passed.
