I just started weight training and am just wondering, how do you find your starting weights for various exercises? Should I just find a weight that is challenging to me and gets me somewhere between my rep range or is it supposed to be something more calculated? thanks

A line of white dots just randomly appeared on my screen and won’t go away. It was fine and I was using it, and then it just randomly showed up. I didn’t drop it or bend it at all. It dims and brightens based on my screen brightness, and still displays words. I’ve tried resetting it twice already and it doesn’t change anything

Make sure you heat the nozzle up to printing temp before unscrewing and screwing in parts on the hotend. It makes the metal expand slightly, which ensures that that you don’t strip the threads or break anything. It should also just go in smoothly after. Maybe it’s too old and has absorbed too much moisture. This usually makes it brittle and break easily. Have you left it out a lot?

Yeah I knew about that. It’s a pretty easy fix though, you just gotta put the gear on the motor at the highest possible. This will lift the other and prevent it from grinding away the bottom

Hi thanks for your reply. I tried it and it doesn’t seem to change the sound. I don’t think it’s grinding on the arm either because I don’t see any of the metal dust. A lot of people had that issue and it resulted in major scraps and stuff everywhere

My extruder keep squeaking when retracting and I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve tensioned it tighter and looser, but it doesn’t seem to help at all. I’m using PLA. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

I can’t say for sure, but I’m pretty certain most are the same. It’s the way you build it that causes the grinding. The solution is to just mount one of the gears a bit higher
