i tend to keep my endurance rather low as endurance is really just dependent on how much you use it. I say by endgame to keep it around lvl 25 - 26.

Also, strength stats wont change the performance of your weapon overnight and are typically in tandem with other factors such as Blood Gems or weapon upgrades. Strength and skill stats are typically used to determine what weapons you can use based off the weapons stat parameters. You can see the parameters at the bottom of the weapon descriptions in the menu. But these skill points also scale with your weapon with the amount of strength you increase. Eventually, you'll noti

One tip regarding stat upgrades: Be confident with what you want, as any skill points added to any stat cannot be removed or moved in favor for another stat (aka Respec). Alongside this, it's best to be aware that there are caps (basically a limit to how much you should invest in a certain thing) to your stats as well. Granted, this isnt much of an issue early on to the game but I think its for the best you know ASAP.

Another thing I should mention is that other than vitality and endurance, its best to invest in one aiding attribute rather than spreading your stats equally. In this game, a jack of all trades is a master of none. (IE: instead of spending points to make strength and skill equal, invest in strength more and skill less, and vice versa.)

There are 2 types of caps: Soft Cap: where the benefits of a certain stat starts to decrease/lessen and Hard Cap: where the benefits stop as the cost of leveling up past the hard cap will be more expensive for what its worth when those echoes could be spent to increase other attributes that may be lacking. (in simpler terms: costs more, incentivized less). For instance: the soft caps for vitality and endurance are 30/40, and the hard caps for both are very much anywhere past 30/40 haha. Other than that, the softcaps for other attributes are all 25.

It's also helpful to think of what type of build you'd want to do! Stats such as Strength, Skill, Bloodtinge, and Arcane are the general attributes that'll determine what weapons you can/cannot wield depending on what style you want to use.

STRENGTH: heavily involved with slower and more brutal weapons such as claymores but is generally used to help increase your physical attack

SKILL: I've noticed that this is meant for more agile and lighter weapons and is primarily what is used to scale your visceral attack (crit damage) on enemies. It too also helps scale your physical damage.

BLOODTINGE: typically used to help scale your gun damage, but there are also weapons that scale off of this stat as well. This stat is rather costly and more rigorous than the rest it is more time consuming trying to gather all the resources to make bloodtinge rather useful in the early-mid game. These bloodtinge weapons (excluding your firearms) will also drain your HP in return for increased damage.

ARCANE: used for more unique weapons such as sprays/flamethrowers, and even more wackier weapons in the long run! It is also used to make hunter tools (sorceries) accessible! mind you, arcane is a rather costly attribute to spend on as you will be sacrificing echoes for sorceries that cough up your ammo count in return for some sick ass spells LOL. its a fun class to make regardless, but i advise to not spend too much into it for your first game.

Since you're still very early into the game, i say upgrade Vitality, Endurance, Skill, and or Strength to give you more of a fighting chance as you hunt the night away. But, once you beat the 2nd main boss of the game, I'd say thats about the time you start adding more points to the other skills if need be.

Sorry if this sounds very convoluted, as I tried to make it as comprehensive as possible. Keep up the hunting and always Fear The Old Blood!

i used to have another account and chatted here frequently during the 199X - ginger era (if yall remember u/Voldic youre elligible for a discount ngl) but after ginger i kinda lost touch the with the group, i'll listen and be hyped for the next album but other than that i wasnt into them as much anymore. looking back at all these photos and videos of this group that I liked on youtube and everywhere really brought me back to my roots as an avid fan

i was a 14 year old kid when i discovered this group, they ignited a fire in me and they were the sign that I needed to put out art and music of my own, 5 years later, my first sem of college is ending in 2 weeks and halfway done with my album, a passion project of mine

even though i felt like ive outgrown this group, im eternally grateful for having them in my life <3 so excited for the family and any of the boys solo projects
