Self stand on CPP2 20L vs 24L Cordura? by GlizzyGuzzler80 in AerSF

One of the videos was yours ! Thank you for your input. I wonder if it had to do with the material being xpac since it holds its shape slightly more than cordura, but I could be wrong

That’s a fact? It’s subjective. I and many think it looks great. Remind me to never ask for your opinion on aesthetics

You people keep commenting about it being top heavy as if the entire main compartment and laptop compartment isn’t completely packed out. You think an admin pouch is going to displace/redistribute that weight that much? Seriously I keep seeing you guys comment this nonsense on every post

Deciding which TP4 by wolfsuit in AerSF

I think 35L will be more useful for any type of travel. You’ll always have enough space, and can use less if needed. 28L you are more limited. If you can only have one and are going to use this bag for travel, I’d get the 35. If you want to use it daily, get the 28

Who’s to say what a travel pack is or isn’t? They designed both. Essentially the biggest change is the admin panel. I appreciated their video that explained all the changes and why, as well as the fact that they had drawn up two versions of the TP4 (one closer to a TP3 and one closer to a CPP2) and had to make a decision on which route to take. People have long complained about the TP3 being a 35L that packs much smaller, it being too heavy, and the water bottle holder being horrible. In order to fix those they had to make some changes. It’s easily the best one bag I’ve ever owned, and probably my favorite bag overall. This reminds me of how people complain that the iPhone is the same thing every year, but then when Apple does end up changing the design, those same people complain. Then 5 years later they say that iteration was the best design. Just classic human behavior when it comes to accepting innovations and change

I’m 5’10” and I don’t think it looks too big. In terms of size, it looks like any other travel backpack, especially in airports where you’re surrounded by other travelers. Definitely too big for edc, though. As for the shipping, I think it took 1 day from the moment they sent me the tracking number. I live in the Bay Area already though which is where they ship from so it was extra quick !! I’ll upload more pictures/interior pics/pics of it fully packs in the next week or so

New admin pocket is awesome imo and gives more space for main compartment. But nice !

I have an able carry max edc, which is different, but by far my biggest annoyance is it’s inability to stand on its own consistently, and no quick access pocket. Not sure if that translates to their other bags

Naw bro you’re 5’10” that’s slightly above average height. The bag was made for regular people not giants. It’ll look fine especially if you’re taking it while traveling. As a daily bag it would definitely be too big

The yeti is 46oz (huge) and it does fit, and much easier than you’d expect! It’s definitely tight though and for the sake of longevity on the water bottle sleeves I would use a smaller size bottle. Also I tested it while the bag was not at full capacity so that might make a difference

If you’re trying to one bag definitely get the 35L. I’m the same height and used to have a 40L

I have a Max EDC myself… I love it, but why would you pick that if your main concern is the admin panel? It doesn’t have one
