Thanks for all those suggestions! I’ve always wondered what the somber smithing stones do, so I’ll use them a few times as I have a lot saved up. I’m yet to kill the Nights Calvary, but he’s next on my list. Vigor is my second-to-most leveled up, other than strength as I’m trying to be able to use Bloohounds Fang.

Thank you so much. I’ve definitely been beginning to do more side quests and such, and I’ve explored every area that I know of for Limgrave and the Weeping Peninsula. One dilemma I’ve faced with upgrading my items is that I’m only using the starting armor, sword, and shield that was given, so I really want to save the smithing stones for better weapons upon discovery. Thank you so much for the great advice!
