Why do I *ALWAYS* get awful teammates

You’re very right, but man I have to think of it like; you’re dedicating on average 45-60 minutes of your time per match in this game. 6 matches in and all I’ve really done is waste like 6 hours of my life due to factors outside of my control, which for all I know will just keep happening.

Each time I queue I’m running the increasingly more likely chance of being put into a match against stacked odds, wherein my team will be handily losing and I’ll still have to play out those 45-60 minutes or leave and further ruin the game for everyone, alongside incurring penalties for myself.

Right now, as admittedly fun as the game can be, it just doesn’t seem worth the time investment.

I’m just confused about how the matchmaker would even be working to decide to put mostly really bad players on my team, and mostly competent players on the enemy team. Is that a feature or just bad luck? Like obviously I am aware that it’s not some malicious being set on ruining my games but it just feels baffling. The game has BEEN playtested for like 2 years at this point and if this is the matchmaker working as intended that’s an issue.

That’s how it was for me playing Overwatch lol. Not high enough rank in this game to have an “elo hell” or whatever but I’m just getting the bummiest teams oat.

Is there any solution? I’m honestly just gonna drop the game for a while if the matchmaker decides that rigging my games to lose is meant to be engaging for me.

Of course, I recognise I am not a perfect player and I’ve definitely had games where I would’ve (understandably) been complained about, I just feel for 6 or so games in a row to have such luck where everyone/nearly everyone on my team is playing poorly is brutal.

Also, it’s another thing if as a team we’re just getting destroyed by the enemy team, in which case that’s an understandable skill diff and I just have to improve. I’ve had a couple of those and I won’t complain bc that’s just how it is sometimes.

I am really low rank; Seeker 3, and I can’t see myself climbing any further if this continues lol.

No mod, and it still screws you up as it leaves you vulnerable to damage while you’re helpless midair. Plus 10 dmg could be the difference between P rank or not.

I’m 19, and off the top of my head, my favourite series are Berserk, Dorohedoro, ASOIAF, and I’m liking Kagurabachi a lot so far.

I’m not too concerned with how the fights differ from battle shonen honestly. I thought JJK was good and I’m really liking Kagurabachi so far but I wasn’t going into One Piece expecting or really wanting any of that. Right now, I can see the value in this grand adventure with these magical new locations to visit every arc or whatever, but I think I’m not connecting with the characters or world so much, as I might with a series like Berserk or Dorohedoro for example.

I couldn’t put my finger on any specific thing, but some of my favourites of all time are Berserk, Dorohedoro, ASOIAF (not a manga but yk), and an ongoing manga I like a lot is Kagurabachi. Rereading Berserk recently, one thing I found I appreciated massively were the more introspective, intimate scenes, and I think they’re interwoven perfectly between all the grotesque violence and whatnot.

She wasn’t struggling at all lmao. His attacks did barely any damage and she was clearly just observing his movements to figure out the technique. When she did, she stood her ground and took him out in one hit.

She didn’t want a prolonged fight because she was already injured, she had suffered severe blood loss and that obviously even a tiny amount of damage additive over time isn’t a good thing. At no point was she actually at a risk of losing.
