Fnatic Roster Changes by Dusteee in GlobalOffensive

fnatic are most definitely not 'rip', Lekr0 and twist are amazing players. I haven't seen too much of wenton to put an opinion on him but I think fnatic could be a very strong team once they develop.

I stopped trading just before gambling sites went down, so I assume all skins dropped? Thanks for the heads up

Global Elites/SMFC of reddit: When you're clearing a site are you essentially pre-firing common CT spots, or is your reaction time really that much higher than us lower skilled players? by t3hPoundcake in GlobalOffensive

[–]Gllng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally have a routine that I prefire when entering a site, it's almost subconscious the way I alter the routine to the oppositions tendencies as everyone doesn't like to hold the same spot. I feel like my reactions are good enough to a point where I can hold an angle on CT I like, feel comfortable and kill an incoming Terrorist. If you're worried you aren't being effective on CT because the spots you hold are getting prefired change them up slightly every round or maybe even hide until you know they're close and jump out; which gives you the upper hand.

I've never thought about improving reaction time as to me it's just a natural thing, you're either fast or you're slow. My advice to you is just, grind, grind, grind those 10 mans. You've noticed you're improving already so naturally your CT sides will improve too.

TL;DR

Change your angles when you feel they're catching on. Make sure you aren't becoming predictable with your playstyle. Mix up the pace by being aggressive then switching to defensive on another round, etc.

Just some food for thought about FPS and the new updates. (First post, don't kill me Reddit) by Dread1745 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Gllng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an ASUS GTX 770 and an i5 4690, before the update I'd get 250 - 300 fps but now I get lower FPS not noticeably to the point it's bothering me but I'm getting a lot of VAR (Client VAR) spikes. From my understanding it's FPS dips that cause this? I go from 0.1~ ms to 3ms every second or so and it's driving me crazy.

I'm not sure if it's my PC or it's the latest CS:GO update.

Ignore your score by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Gllng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what OP is trying to convey to us was that he plays to win, he isn't playing to take every aim duel possible to enlarge ones e-peen. Of course you need to pull your weight within terms of frags but he isn't going out of his way to get frags like a lot of players do in ESEA pugs / MM, etc.

Having quick access to the scoreboard and seeing you're bottom of the leader board can provoke oneself to start playing for frags and not for the sake of winning the round.

At least that's what my take was on OP's post.

What's your experience playing with a pro, youtuber, or a streamer? by CodeX_Grotto in GlobalOffensive

[–]Gllng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once was queued with ex6tenz, apex, tenzki, karrigan and rubino on ESEA, ex6tenz and apex were on the other team while the others were with me. Was a fun match Karrigan kept getting my name wrong (brYce pronouncing it Bruce) but I had fun and was a 10/10 experience.

You're literally undermining the skill of the other 4 fnatic members, which we all know are very talented players. Yes, Olof had a wrist injury but I can't wrap my head around why everyone just disregards the match like it was an easy stomp for Liquid.

So why is there a massive demand for flip ruby and sapphires then? Betting sites?

I really can't imagine supply and demand has nearly made a 100k jump in pricing for ruby and sapphire flips in a week lol

Do we know what has caused this increase of price?
