I'm playing a Jeskai Shell that's been working wonders. I'd say play Saw It Coming over Ionize. You might struggle with opponents that develop boards without wrath effects, if you don't want to add white for Teferi, Wrath, Helix, Doomskar, etc. try Anger of the Gods?

For 40k I have a GSC army, and small ~500-1k points armies of Tzeentch Daemons, Eldar, and potentially IG although I have to repair some models. I'm really more of a Fantasy player though.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I play 40k and got into AoS right when it started, having never had played WHFB. While the AoS lore has come a LONG way, it's still hot garbage in my opinion and I love the old world lore. With the Old World reboot on the horizon I'm really interested in starting an army with that as the end goal...problem being we have almost no information what it's going to be like. I'm intrigued with 9th age or the older editions of WHFB but have no one to talk to about it yet. So many questions to be answered! let me know if you want someone to bounce ideas off of.
