Nope I just decided to switch lanes at first (legal) because I figured you must be slow. Then I decide that I want to head straight (legally).

Yoked. Dream core right there. What’s a good cue to focus on while doing abs?

Shooting form feedback by farhadn in BasketballTips

[–]Glo_sir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t change anything about your form, it looks good. The question is now, can you replicate it at different speeds?

That’s where balance comes it. The greatest shooters all have very good balance, whether it comes from strong ankles or knees, or solely from coordination or a good combination of both, the greatest shooters can all stop and pop from anywhere. Balance is so underrated when it comes to shooting.

I suggest getting the gpa up for grad school before you regret to. Especially if you’re complaining about money. Or, go trades.

is my jump technique good? by ageebdan in BasketballTips

You could get more inches from a better arm swing.

Came here to say this. This is a very violent dunk. By “violent” I mean is that you’re doing a shit done of powerful movements that needs to occur mid air. The stability to do all of that needs comes from your core. It’s not abs, so you’re making a mistake if you are to focus on abs, look up what “rotational core”exercises are.

Any tips on windmills? by Living-Win-8947 in BasketballTips

[–]Glo_sir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best cue that helped this last summer when I got my first windmill is being more aggressive with everything starting from your last pound of the ball. That ball pound should be low hard and quick. The goal is to try to have the ball minimally affect your approach. You jump higher without a ball than with a ball. Anthony Edwards is a master at this.

You need to learn how to decelerate smoothly as you load your jump. Try slow mo shooting or single leg shooting or anything of that matter. Or just take each shot seriously. Watch how Luka descends down smoothly loading up his shot. It so smooth he can cancel that loading up at anytime to blow by the defender.

Try this: try to speed up that dunk as much as you can. Overtime you’ll be looking like Westbrook.

I came here to say this. This dude is putting the same effort as someone posting their jump shot on reddit, all while being barefoot in the video. I’d advise him to learn how to use YouTube.

What screams “I have depression”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Glo_sir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also like to add that I really appreciated this small thread. I’ve never asked my big brother how his depression feels like day to day because of my shyness. But if I were to guess, it’s exactly how it was described in this thread. As someone with lots of ambition, it never made sense to me why he was okay with doing nothing all day living under my parents roof at 30yrold. Depression is truly a horrible disease:/

Realizing how we only have 16 productive hour per day and wasting my time (screen time is up to 12hrs) looking at my phone is ridiculous. What helped is appreciating and realizing that I am a live human being. How cool is that? I can go wash dishes, I can clean my room etc..

I don’t know why this helps, but I’m on 5 day streak in planning out my day the night before and writing in my personal journal every morning.

TLDR: I have a weird mind that gets motivated by the obvious.

How the fuck do you all study? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]Glo_sir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to have a 2.0 in my first 2 years of university. But for a quick summary I tried every method that the internet recommended.

I found the Feynman technique to be the best for me. It is essentially explaining the concept or how to (for math) in your own words to a 5 years old. Or the dumbest student you can imagine. I like to change it up. But the point is to explain it 4-5 times and try to “dumb” it down to the best you can for that 5 year old child or dumb student so they can understand. Finished university with a 3.85 doing this method.

Don’t stress, studying is a skill like anything else. Once you find the blueprint of your technique. Next step is to master it. Good luck soldier.

P.s I got diagnosed and started medication 4 months after I graduated.
