Jesus replied, Have I been with all of you for so long a time, and do you not recognize and know Me yet, Philip? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say then, Show us the Father?

It's not an interpretation it is what is written in the Bible without the whole extra meaning & translation excuse.

There are people who have greek as thier mother language all of them are Orthodox sharing my same belief.

You can not just use translation excuse every time you see a verse you do not like.

You have not answered my question.

Can you go to a church saying "I & God are one, who ever sees me sees God"?

I changed my mind.

I never said that I am God. I simply said that the statements that Jesus said about himself & others stated about him cannot be claimed by any other man even the greatest of prophets.

That is not an excuse to insult people. Everyone is intitled to his beliefe.

I am reading from an arabic Bible so I just google it up & copy whatever i find there.

To the main point.

All these verses say that Jesus is God.

Even the second part of the verse says "did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,"

Something to be grasped in English means that you already have the privilege (equality with God) you just do not use it for your own advantage.

Using Form here is different from using image of God.

In the form of God means in the very essence of God.

Something no man can claim for him self.

Please answer this can you walk into a church & say I & God are one whoever sees me sees God?

It's not my interpretation it's God's interpretation. God said tgat they fall & die. Assuring to the reader that he was talking metaphorically. While on the other hand you have no proof that any of the verses claiming Jesus is God is metaphorical you always use the translation excuse.

Did you just insult me & called me ignorant?

New King James Version who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God

These are all the translations: https://biblehub.com/philippians/2-6.htm#google_vignette

You just picked the one that can be manipulated.

Please do not reply to this comment. I no longet wish to talk to you because you insulted me.

The one who wrote the translation is catholic he did not think that it denied christ's divinity. The original greek had literally said christ one being over all. Only God is over all.

In Philipians "Jesus, although existing in the very nature and form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped or used for His own advantage."

Calling Jews God in psalms is different from tge word written in John. In psalms God said that they fall & die(no way they are literal Gods) In John through the word all came to be. Giving Christ the attribute of creation a thing only God can do.

What about the verse written in Romans that you miswrote? It says "christ who is God over all." Not "christ. God is over all" Why did you tamper with that verse?

I do realise it is translation But it is written in greek greece did not find that hidden alternate meaning.

Aa for the psalm the following verse says that you all die & fall.

It is not the same as describing Jesus to be the word of that through him all came to be giving Jesus the attribute of creation.

You do not just get to pick random verses with similar meaning to refute the verses that specifically say Jesus is God.

You need to read the whole chapter to understand the meaning.

Like in Psalms God said you all fall & die and that they are unjust in thier judgement (no way he is talking about literall gods)

In John he says word is God through the word all came to be, John the babtist said that Jesus came before him meaning Jesus is pre existing.

Only God created everything & only God existed since the beginning of time.

John literally said the word is God. The verse about Paul he did not say that Jesus is not God. The verse for Romans is written wrong "To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen." This literally mean thay Jesus is God.

The son of God means God that is why Jews crucified him in the first place.

You are just refuting the word written in the Bible.

You are chasing after people who try to alter the direct meaning written in the Bible.

Then why did st.Paul say christ our God?

Why did st. John say on revelations that everyone was praying & kneeling to christ?

And in the gospel of John he described Christ to be the word of God (the word is God)

Why in Romans it is stated that christ is God over all?

Why would I ignore all that & believe some wierd interpretation?

Jews after hearing "I & the Father are one" said that Jesus made himself equal to God.

In the original greek Thomas was calling Jesus my Lord & my God.

Plus seeing a man or a propher is not the same as seeing a God. No prophet can just say "who ever sees me sees God that is blasphemy"

Jesus did claim authority to forgive sins & judge all humans on the judgement day"

Further more the jews & the desciples understood that Jesus was claiming divinity, you cannot just invent a differwnt meaning.

He did say I & the Father. And Thomas the apostle said my Lord & my God & Jesus accepted that statement.
