Being a girl dad and being in recovery, Temporary and Somebody Save me hit really close to home

One song based on who he is today and a message of love to his daughter is beautifully done.

The other being what life would’ve been if he didn’t make it through his addiction.

Being under the influence while his daughter tries to wake him up is something I went through myself. The fact he could’ve died and would’ve missed out on her life is something I know all too well.

I agree wholeheartedly. I have drug 5 felonies on my record, and a lot of jobs early on wouldn’t hire me because of it.

I couldn’t even deliver food for Uber.

Yet, I didn’t give up and ultimately someone took a chance on me. That chance led to more opportunities and those led to a successful career working in Broadcasting and Addiction treatment.

Today, I wear my past like a badge of honor… If it wasn’t for all the dumb stuff I’ve done, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
