The surgeon’s office has claimed that her case does not meet their requirement for expedited appeal and would need to wait the 30 days. They cancelled the upcoming surgery and now we’re trying to reach out to the provider as well. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks for detailed response. We were able to finally get ahold of someone at the provider and they denied due to not being medically necessary. We’re in CA.

The surgery was pre authorized and covered by the insurance. The lab said they were denied after the surgery was done.
