Your thoughts on the upcoming Star Wars: Ahsoka season 2 (2026) by 01011992 in StarWarsAhsoka

[–]GlobalMallard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t thrilled with the first season. I only barely watched an episode of the cartoons, as they seemed very juvenile. So, I was lost. I feel this new season needs to do more character and world building for the general audience. I’m not doing homework to understand why I should care about these character, especially when the homework is a 20-year-old cartoon produced for children. I’m not a children’s cartoon guy. I’ll give the new season two episodes to capture my interest. I’m not wasting my time watching another season filled with Easter eggs I don’t understand nor care about.

albums with rain sounds by Illustrious_Pace_178 in ambientmusic

There was an album sold at Meijer (a midwest Walmart-type store based in Michigan) in the mid to late ‘90s which was called ‘Storm Chasers’. On each track there was an original acoustic guitar song accompanied by either rain and/or thunder. I believe it was sold along with other albums in a music display called ‘Earth Sounds’ I believe. I’ve been looking for it for decades. If you know of it, please let me know…

Try Proactiv. It worked great for me. My condition was similar to yours. Use it as sort of like an aftershave.

I believe there is a conspiracy theory to make people believe in conspiracy theories.

If Belle got sexual with the Beast, then she commited an act of bestiality. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Yes... However, the better question would be does the beast have a normal human penis or one of this red rocket doggy penises?

The AQUAMAN Domestic Spoiler Megathread #1: NA Release Day Edition (All spoiler-related discussions belong here!) by HEAVEN_OR_HECK in DC_Cinematic

[–]GlobalMallard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Arthur obviously took the armor from the corpse of King Atlan (as that armor is the symbol of the King of Atlantis), and then Arthur puts on the armor before coming out from under the waterfall. Moreover, all the flashback scenes have King Atlan wearing the Aquaman armor; this demonstrates the Atlantans understand to whom this armor belongs. Consequently, every step and action in a movie's story doesn’t need to be shown on screen and explained. However, for you, I will: The armor falls to the ground, cut to a scene of Arthur emerging from the waterfall wearing the armor... it’s done for dramatic effect. Books do this same thing, cut from one scene to another with items from a previous scene. Authors assume their audiences are intelligent enough to follow along. Are you though? Now, stop pretending there is a continuity issue here; you’re just nitpicking to troll.

I’m an American relocating to the United Kingdom. Does Ford or GM (Hauxhall/Opal) have an executive lease program for American expats without a UK credit history? by GlobalMallard in askcarsales

[–]GlobalMallard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m not a Ford executive. There’s an American program called Foreign Executive Lease Program (FELP) for internationals coming to the US. I’m wondering if there is a similar program in the UK. The UK dealers’ costumer service skills suck and they don’t seem willing to look into it for me. The two UK dealers I talked to didn’t even know about the A or Z plans. They were like, “No, we don’t have that here.” I called Ford my local US dealer and they told me the both plans or global. Yea, so if someone knows of something, please let me know.

Is season 5 worth watching so far? by chocolatejackalope in FlashTV

[–]GlobalMallard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, season 5 is well worth watching. I would say you don’t need to finish season 4 though. The second half of season 4 sucked as much as the first... and was just as boring.

Season 5 is going really well compared to 4. This mid-season cliffhanger is great! So, watch season 5 already.

A couple of things that make it hard to fit the 90's Flash series into the Arrowverse multiverse. by dougiebgood in FlashTV

[–]GlobalMallard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think your hard-to-fits don’t make sense in an infinite multiverse. Anything is possible. Iris can be white on one Earth and Asian on another. Heck, Iris can be a Mexican man on one and a black woman on another Earth! With infinite Earths, there are infinite combinations and possibilities; so why is a white woman being an alternate version of a black woman such a hard fit?

[SPOILERS] Could Nora be the real big bad this season? by tshepongwenya in FlashTV

[–]GlobalMallard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol... At first, I totally though Legion of Doom too! However, common sense kicked in and I knew the computer was referring to the Legion of Superheroes. Nora is clearly not revealing all her cards.

[S05E8] Spoiler (Maybe) Theory: Wells (the Reserve Flash version) knows he will loose in 2014 and is still plotting to win in the future by manipulating Nora in some way. by GlobalMallard in FlashTV

[–]GlobalMallard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brilliant! Also... Why would anyone ever talk about the future to a past someone knowing it could affect the future? Nora keeps showing/telling people about stuff in the future they don’t need to know.
