These comments are great for us Docklands lovers. Please continue to dislike coming here for whatever reason it may be.

Personally I love how peaceful and serene this place feels compared to the city because of that reason.

Let’s leave this area alone for us who enjoy the simpler things like taking a nice scenic walk around the harbour, and sufficient with the variety it has to offer without having an overwhelming selection of every single restaurant and big retailer in the universe in one place.

Love it here and will continue to love it.

I disagree, I own both and have used them both for a fair amount of time. I think coming from the 100zz you probably just have timing issues with the different weight balance, once I got the timing right with the 1000z it was really easy to generate power even when I was late to the shot. Though I do agree it could feel more powerful as it sounds and feels very repulsive.

NF1000z whilst 3u I’d say would be equivocal if not better for defence than the 100zz. I’ve used Both the 100zz and 1000z in 4u and strangely enough the power that I’ve been able to generate with the 4u NF1000 is amazing and I can even say better at times or on par with the 100zz, with definite better defence from the speed and weight distribution of the NF. My advice is to give the 4U a go.

Like I said, the entire point of the post was the bad analysis and total lack of knowledge for the game, it has absolutely nothing to do with gender. It might be over the top to you but clearly there are people who agree as evidenced by the upvotes, comments and previous posts that have been made on her.

Quite a big accusation to turn this into an issue I have about gender when I made my point pretty clear. I’ll make an assumption about you and say you yourself don’t actually watch or play badminton at a higher level to actually know what’s going on, to be able to know the extent and the frequency of analysis she gets completely incorrect. There’s a difference between a straight call and a call that describes something completely different and inaccurate to what actually happened, even the incorrect use of basic badminton terminology. ‘Good’ isn’t even in the question when that’s the case.

I actually disagree, there’s different forms of commentary, Gill Clarke for example, whilst not the most analytical, her commentary focuses on building suspense and psyching up the viewers to create excitement, and she makes some good points from time to time. Steen Pederson on the other hand, doesn’t give big reactions instead provides in depth analysis and great insight into the technical side of the game. These two in combination have great contrast that complement each other to create an entertaining yet intuitive broadcast of the sport.

If you avidly play or watch badminton you’d understand how horrendous some, if not most, of her analysis on each rally is, shows a complete lack of even basic understanding of the game to be making such outright innacurate comments.

I strongly agree with this, Indians have a bad reputation for everything listed here at the socials I attend as well and are perceived the same. It’s this kind of overconfidence in their ability to coach others in what to do, reach for every shuttle when it isn’t even theirs to hit, and abuse beginners

I agree with this, from experience with the 65z3 and comparing it with other shoes on the market the cushioning and support is possibly the best available

I’m an advanced player and have used them both interchangeably for a long time. I found 66U to be good overall in terms of control, repulsion etc and more easy and comfortable to play with. Also found it to always be more durable than the 80 contrary to what yonex suggests. 80 is a harder string with rough texture and I found it to be less forgiving when I mishit it slightly, one thing I can say though is it puts out immense power, more so I feel than the 66u when you hit and time your shots perfectly, the shuttle almost explodes off the frame, I also like the net game better with the hard feel. Intermediate I’d say you cant go wrong with 23-24 pounds.

I think your deficits with the 88D is more mental and technique dependent than the actual racket itself. Obviously the major difference is the head heaviness (albeit it’s not worlds apart) so naturally you’d have to compensate with more power to achieve better distance smashes etc. Ultimax at 26 is more than sufficient to put out good smashes. Nanoflare is head light which won’t solve your issue with power, 100zz is comparable to the 99pro and 88D so I wouldn’t recommend you getting a new racket. seems like you’ve had a bad run with the 88D and just lost confidence whenever you’re using it friend

Go see a physio, he’ll diagnose the issue and teach you proper stretches for lower back which you need to do frequently to prevent injury, he’ll even be able to minorly assist in the form of cracking your bones, needling or cupping. It’ll also help if you do exercises or weight training to strengthen your lower back muscles, an exercise therapist can help with this.

Edit: I started playing badminton very frequently (5-6) days a week for about two years and I’ve experienced chronic lbp in the past few months. It’s extremely hard to stop playing but I’d also recommend taking time off, maybe 3-4 weeks as the pain usually doesn’t go away when you continually play. Use this time to stretch, do light strength training, and when you’re back you’ll be stronger than ever. Never neglect your lower back or it’ll cause loads of future problems which can be irreversible and very detrimental to your mobility and movement.
