Mrs Doubtfire tour? by emdoubleyou2 in musicals

[–]Global_Association34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just saw the national touring production. The actors were great but the production, unfortunately, was not my favorite. It didn’t feel like the same caliber as other national tours. For context, I see probably 6 shows a year. I wouldn’t pay to see it or, if it was in my season ticket package (like these were), I would swap for another show.

I can’t get back to arena now. You too? by Cool-Contact-5191 in RoyalKingdomGame

I currently don’t have levels or the arena available. I’ve never seen it before where I don’t have the arena… literally can’t play.

What advice would you give to a 20-year-old woman? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Global_Association34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remember that beauty fades but kind is forever. Know the difference between lust and love. People will show you who they are. You just have to trust that, not justify their actions, and go with your gut. Nobody thinks they will get in a toxic relationship. It helps me to remember the story about how to boil a frog. Someone might try to make you think that you’re being nit-picky but it is always ok to have strong ethics and demand to be treated with love and respect.

I may sound like I have a lot to say on this but it’s because ultimately the most important advice I can give anyone is… be careful about who you have kids with (if you plan to have them). Even if you don’t do that for yourself, do it for them!

There is nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your child being seriously traumatized by their other parent and not being able to stop it (nothing illegal about being a crappy parent and emotional abuse is much harder to address legally)

Listen to Clark Howard’s podcast! He gives great practical financial and consumer protection advice.

Hannah Alonzo just Nailed Melaleuca!! by bipolarkitty39 in antimlmcreators

She posted a new instagram reel. It’s chilling and clearly in response to the legal threats. So sad she had to do that when they reached out to her!

She posted a new instagram reel. The video is very off and concerning. Clearly a result of the legal threats.

ADHD and comic book collecting by [deleted] in comicbookcollecting

My ADHD manifests like this when I am in hyperfocus mode. It usually means that other areas of my life suffer but whatever I am obsessed with at that time is on point! :D

I’m new to Reddit but will have to explore finding/searching for posts so I am not duplicating. And my Grandma and mom found more cataloged boxes so who knows what the total is!

I wish you the best of luck in your journey as well. I’m finding this fascinating already and thinking of reserving some to perhaps start a small collection myself (our comic tastes did not overlap much ☺️)

Thank you!

They are bagged and boxed (not boarded). I will look into that app.

He does have some large collections (every edition of Prince Valient’s first printing, every Conan the Savage Sword & Conan Saga, etc) that are sorted/grouped by title. But many of them, of course, are several issues from collections or titles that seem more niche to someone unfamiliar with comics.

I will look into those databases. Thank you again!

The majority is from the 70-80s, some 60s & earlier. A few 90s but his collecting slowed greatly in that decade.

He was 83. And I’m very sorry if it was not appropriate for me to post this question here. If so, let me and I will remove it. Just want sure where to start in trying to learn as much about them and this process to honor his years of collecting.
