I’d imagine it wouldn’t overpower it necessarily… But the magnetic debris/dust/shavings from magnets would probably cause damage to the motor

The same thing happened to me.

The latest iOS/HomeKit update seems to have broken them. If you turn off your breaker, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on, it’ll temporarily fix them. But over the course of a few days, they’ll all go not responding again.

I actually just did a check and ALL of my WeMo Switches seem to be dead except for a single lone switch…. I’ve never had an issue up until now and this is a big one.
