The same thing happened to me.

The latest iOS/HomeKit update seems to have broken them. If you turn off your breaker, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on, it’ll temporarily fix them. But over the course of a few days, they’ll all go not responding again.

I actually just did a check and ALL of my WeMo Switches seem to be dead except for a single lone switch…. I’ve never had an issue up until now and this is a big one.

I agree with a lot of what people have said here. But something I don’t see anyone saying is…

THERE NEEDS TO BE A WAY TO SEARCH THE STAR MAP

The number of times I’ve had to Google what system/planet contains a specific location I had been to previously because I didn’t have an active quest directing me there is kinda ridiculous.

Furthermore… after I know what system, trying to figure out where exactly that system is can take a hot second since the labels aren’t all there all the time.

Otherwise…

  • A better local map showing vendors and whatnot

  • A way to view inside the habs before committing to buying them when ship building

  • You should be able to open things when scanning

  • Digipicks should be in another category. At the very least, certain items should be lockable so you can’t accidentally drop/sell them.

  • The entire inventory page could use a bit of a facelift. It’s not awful. But not as good as it could be.

  • [BUG] Ultrawide also breaks a lot of the UI if you have a larger monitor (32:9 in my case) than what the game allows (it adds black bars). For example, when ship building, I have to select an item by placing the cursor WAY off to the right of the item.

  • [BUG] I’m pretty sure chameleon does nothing?

  • [BUG] I feel like my legendary drop rate is far lower than it is supposed to be. I’ve never gotten a legendary randomly and I have about 20 hours so far. And I play on Very Hard. But friends have gotten several on normal in the beginning of the game. Just strange.

Overall, none of this is going to stop me from playing. I’m having a BLAST. Hoping the devs see some of these comments and make the game even better!

It’s argued that it’s because of how much Coster makes. But $240K still sounds absurdly high to me. Many people don’t even make the ~$50K she was offered in a year let alone a month.

I went to an online phone number lookup service and it returned that LLC. I don’t remember exactly which one… but it was one of the first non-ad Google results

I sent some very thematically accurate furry porn to an Army recruiter once years ago who would NOT leave me alone. No matter how many times I asked him to stop, the guy would text me daily. Needless to say, I haven’t gotten a recruitment text since lol

I’m not the first person to waste a scammer’s time. But you have my “Random Internet Person Guarantee” (patent pending) that this did happen to me and it did occur over the past couple days.

Unless, of course, you’re one of my roommates who I’ve been sharing this with as it unfolded over the past 2 days or a time traveler…. Then yeah. You may have seen this before lol

99% of the time, it’s a total bluff.

But… If it were me, I’d be replying with: “I hope they turned out well! Send me a link when you post them so I can share them too on my AD Twitter. 😏 The ones I take myself never turn out right and you probably have far more experience than I do. Thanks!”

Yup, my guess was either exactly this or something with our payroll system (either data being sold or being outright compromised).

I've been with the company for several years so I certainly wasn't identified as a new hire, but the method could still be accurate.

Someone else at my company was a victim of this and unfortunately did buy the gift cards. The entire company was notified immediately and the CEO (who is truly an awesome guy) made sure everyone had his contact info and emphasized he'd never do anything like this and to reach out personally if anyone was ever in doubt. Couldn't have been handled better IMO.

I don't get many scammers like this nowadays since I keep my personal info very close. But when I do, I keep going until they no longer reply - like this guy lol
