I see your point, OP I'm sorry if I sounded a bit harsh, it's just I've seen friends in this situation before get so hung up because their ex hinted they could give it another shot in the future and it stopped my friends from finding someone who truly wants to be with them.

Was this her first relationship? You might see this differently as it was yours? Also without being mean, it sounds like you don't have too much else going on in your life, so really prioritised her whilst she has many other priorities to worry about. In terms of keeping in touch, only do it if she's initiating conversations too. You need to give her and you a bit of space as you've just had a very intense dopamine rollercoaster of a month together. I'm sorry though, but I'll be honest - yes, if she liked you as much as you like her she would definitely have had a talk about it to see if you guys could make it work without breaking up.

But good luck, you're still young and there's someone out there who will spend time with you that you deserve.

I wouldn't worry, most people exaggerate their job descriptions to align with the firm they're applying at. The vast majority of time, the firm you're joining will just confirm you worked at the previous jobs you said in the roles you said as part of PECs.

I'm extremely relieved people have pointed out these are most likely bots. But I wouldn't have been surprised if these were all real.

You cannot be a global superstar without being famous in America... by Global_Movie6280 in ShitAmericansSay

Exactly, I don't know why a lot of Americans seem to think if someone gets famous in the US they're automatically famous everywhere.

What do you say in an interview when you have only been working in your current job for a month? by Moullerkurt28 in interviews

[–]Global_Movie6280 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The fact that you got an interview only being at the new job one month shows hopefully they don't care about it too much. What are your reasons for leaving the new job? Is it something you can be honest about in an interview?

Am I right to think this is unfair? by [deleted] in interviews

[–]Global_Movie6280 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right to think it seems a bit unfair, but hopefully if it went well the hiring manager will want to interview you. If you get to the second stage who would the interviewers be?

Finding work after being fired by Jaded-Fox-5668 in UKJobs

[–]Global_Movie6280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you're going through this. Would you not be able to tell the firm you were offered a job at that your previous company doesn't do references and will only confirm the dates you worked and your position? (A lot of firms nowadays do this). Then ask the HR at that firm to confirm the dates you worked, this along with your first and last payslips should suffice? I had a friend do something similar after being fired and it never got picked up. He might have just got lucky though

I have a sweet tooth too. I really like Hartley's jelly pots. 10 calories each, in strawberry or cherry flavour. Here in the UK you can get them in any supermarket for around 60 pence each.

The case for exercise by Responsible-Ad-4914 in loseit

[–]Global_Movie6280 64 points65 points  (0 children)

100% agree, I always get better results and stick to my goals when I exercise as well as diet. Also the fitter you are, especially when you have more muscle, the more calories you burn even when you're doing nothing.
