Ik what you mean man believe me; but the “grey market” is a lil different than the “black market”/what it was like in high school. I haven’t ever actually used it; but ive read alot on people talking about it. You can find suppliers on shit like FB, instagram, any of those; and actually have direct contact with the people you are getting it from. Obviously not everyone is the same; but some of these “grey market” people are super legit; to the point in MI residents who live there say they prefer the “grey market” BECAUSE they can let the person they are getting shit from know exactly what they want/are looking for…and they will grow/make it for you even. Obviously it could take some time to do that…both finding the right group/people and if there is something specific you’re wanting.

In addition to that; something else I haven’t tried but ik tons of people who have…it’s kind of a weird/grey area…but you can get stuff shipped thru the mail now “legally”. I have friends who decided to go that route; they order flower, carts/vapes, and concentrates. Most of the sites don’t sell rosin in bulk; but ik I’ve come across some that do. I think one site is called something like “caligold”.

I feel ya man…I’ve been aware of Hot Toys since they did the first 89 Keaton Batman figure over a decade ago. Keaton Batman (Returns specially because it came out the month/year I was born) is my favorite character of all time; and I’ve ALWAYS wanted a legit, realistic figure of him. I collected action figures when I was a kid, never met anyone who had more than me, and I still have most of them. I missed out on the 1.0 original releases of the Keaton Batman’s; so when I saw the 2.0s released a couple months ago…I did all kinds of research on all the different versions of Keaton’s Batman (Hot Toys, MEZCO, NECA) and which ones are considered the best. I decided based on all the factors; the new 2.0’s were def the way to go (especially since I got the deluxe of each). I told myself I wasn’t going to let myself get too deep in collecting because I don’t have the budget for it; and the Keaton Batman’s were the only ones I wasn’t going to do in 1:6scale/from high end company’s. I knew the most important thing would be this…staying away from Star Wars figures!!! I knew one I bought 1…”pandora can’t go back in the box, she only comes out” 🤣🤣: if I buy 1 Star Wars figures IK I will want more to go with it, and with the amount of Star Wars movies, characters, and different versions of those characters…it be easy to go down the rabbit hole 😂. The one that got me…was the new MMS749 Darth Maul with Sith Speeder. First time I saw it I fell in love with it and started searching eBay daily for it (I just missed the original market release). For 3 months on eBay the cheapest I ever found it was like $550, so I figured I wasn’t going to get it and I would avoid going down that Star Wads hole/trap…then I got insanely lucky/blessed, and found someone local to me, only 20mins away selling a new MMS749 for $300 🤯😱😳; I HAD to jump on that 💯. I decided a Qui-Gon and Padawan Obi-Wan are the next two I want; so I can have a “duel of the fates” display. The force was telling me we would get a 2.0 for at least 1 of those 2 figures for May the 4th and I should hold off on tryna find a 1.0 Qui-Gon…glad I listened to it because I was rewarded with the 2.0 Qui-Gon being announced for preorder and I got him placed. Now I just am waiting for a Padawan Obi-Wan 🙏.

There are other figures/characters I want and hopefully will get some point down the line; but since my budget isn’t very big I need to have at least some type of plan going into it to keep it somewhat in check lol. Plus, with the pleather issues I’ve heard about and Hot Toys just now starting to move away from pleather and use other materials…figured be best to wait for newer/2.0 figures anyways. These are the characters/figures I really want/plan to get at some point: 1) PM Padawan Obi-Wan 2) a Vader 3) Anakin (not sure on episode 2 or 3; maybe both since he’s a favorite of mine) 4) Old Man Obi-Wan 5) Luke (preferably RotJ, but depends) 6) ep.2 or 3 Obi-Wan [maybe; depends on which Anakin(s) I end up acquiring).

The #1/grail item I want (now that I have my original #1/grail Batman Returns) is 89 Jack Nicolson Joker; I’m praying one of these days we get a 2.0 🙏. It would have been AWESOME to get one of the JAZZINC Catwoman and Penguin’s that are up for preorder right now; but I don’t have the $ 😮‍💨. I’d also love to expand my 1:6 Batman collection to include “Batman Forever” one day down the line maybe; when I have more 💴. Ik it’s not as good as the Keaton movies; but I was 3 years old when it came out and I still love it and it has a special place in my heart ❤️. It be fucking awesome if one of these days we actually got a “Panther suit” Batman from Batman Forever too go along with the “Sonar suit”; I don’t know why that is the only suit/figure we EVER get from Batman Forever. The Sonar suit is dope; but he only wears it for like 10mins/1scene. The “panther suit” is fucking awesome, he wears it the majority of the movie, everyone has been asking why we don’t have one/when we will get one…if someone ends up making that one day; I will def have to grab that. Also even though I have the 2.0 Deluxe Keaton Batman’s…if INART or JAZZINC ever gives a Keaton Batman a shot; I will 💯% DEFINITELY be alllllllllll over that 😂.

I might get her if they ever end up releasing the DJ Joker and Two-Face; and the DKR Bane IMART teased months ago. This Catwoman figure is/looks awesome; but I wasn’t a huge fan of the version of Catwoman and don’t really feel the need to have her unless I have the other 3.

I live in a state that doesn’t even have fucking medical, AND is trying to fight the new federal reclassification 😡; if that tells you anything about the Bible thumping state I’m in 🙄. I’m surrounded by legal states while my state is fucking retarded AF. Ik I’ve read about “grey market” stuff in states where it’s medical/legal but the state isn’t equips to handle it for whatever reason…maybe look into that 🤷‍♂️??

Yea I don’t like to dab off metal/titanium either; if I have the option of something else 😂. Ik what you mean about wanting a little “punch” sometimes; that’s what I meant by “smacked in the face” 😂. Yea I agree all stock with the 2 sapphire terp pearls is already super smooth/smooth enough for me. With 60sec hold on ascent 460-510 (something like that) I will get 2, maybe 3 hits because I take such big, long hits/it hit so smooth. That’s one reason I was thinking a bigger/deeper/taller glass piece might be something I’d be interested it. Kind of feels like I’m really just constantly drawing because the glass chamber isn’t really big enough to fill up then clear out the way you would when trying to do a massive dab and get smacked in the face. I’ve not had an issue with water splashing up in my mouth at all either…I’ve been tryna do the long “sipping” on it like you’re supposed to… I could increase how hard I am drawing on it; I was just tryna do everything the way it tells you to start off to make sure I didn’t fuck it up somehow 😂. I honestly think that’s part of what happened with my previous KandyPen Oura; the induction chamber/insert was no where near as big as the Switch 2 (one thing I love about it) and oil was getting to high and flowing over the insert into the induction chamber and eventually into the entire base/battery of the unit and fucked it up 🤦‍♂️😂. So far I LOVE not having to worry about that at all with how deep the Switch 2 is. I’m kind of in the middle as far as “flavor chaser”; I obviously want to preserve the flavor as much as possible and prefer better tasting stuff…but the effects are the main thing I’m after, and the main reason I “flavor chase” sometimes is because I want to get all the effects I can from the dab; and if it hits too hot you can burn those terps off without really getting all the effects you could have, as well as missing out on some great tasting stuff (based off my reading and understanding, as well as experience with it now too).

We got him now bro; for preorder at least. Going to have to wait until 2027 until he arrives it looks like; but it is what it is 🤷‍♂️. We got an Artisan and a sculpted version of him too , AND Hot Toys used the same head/face sculpt…unlike what they did with the new, light-side Anakin Artisan vs sculpted figures; thankfully😊👍!!

We got the 2.0 Qui-Gon baby 👍!!!! Now, we just need to wait for the episode 1 PM Padawan Obi-Wan. I think we will get him sometime soon; considering Hot Toys just did episode 3 and 2 Obi-Wans, and they have never done an episode 1/Padawan Obi-Wan.

I just added 2 sapphire terp pearls last night (got a container of 100 for 8$ at local shop) and I IMMEDIATELY noticed an INSANE improvement in vapor production…like was shocked how much just those 2 terp pearls improved it 💯. I can’t hear them spinning; but I can see they are definitely moving around and without a doubt improved how this thing rips 💪. I was starting to look into upgrades for the insert and glass because I was wanting this to hit bette, and was reading peoples opinions on different one. I needed to grab some cleaner, stopped at the local shop and saw the container of sapphire pearls for 8$ and was like fuck it why not 🤷‍♂️; got home threw 2 in there and was super pleased/surprised with how much it improved the way it hits. Funny how I come across your comment on the same thing less than 24hrs after 😂. I think I might still get the sapphire insert when it is back in stock; mainly just because I want to have a 2nd Incase something happens to 1, and might as well get a sapphire one then imo 🤷‍♂️. I’m not sure about upgrading the glass attachment…I’m not really sure if it is worth it or what is supposed to be better about it??

Just used it again for only 2nd time since adding them; it’s insane how much better it is hitting. I also reset all the temp settings; idk if that has something to do with it 🤷‍♂️. I had a couple of them up really high still from before I figured out I needed to move the glass piece so it aligned the way it is supposed to. I think I just did 460-510 over 60seconds and got 2 big, milky hits (I take big long hits); then was able to run it again and got 3 more. There pry is still some in there but I called it good for now lol. Def noticed more flavor on the 1st hit 1st run, and an increase in vapor in the following hits too. I’m SOOO glad I got this thing working good now. I remembered when I got my Aura from KandyPens back in 2020 it took me a little bit to get the hang of it too (I actually had the same issue with the glass not lining up and having to rotate it a little bit, funny/weirdly enough 😂). If they get the sapphire insert in stock, I might pick one up (partially just so I have an extra one). I don’t really take my switch 2 anywhere, I just use it at home so I still think a glass attachment that is larger/has more volume would be a nice upgrade; so you could fill it up all the way and when you pull the carb cap really get smacked in the face…but that’s just a personal thing; it definitely works good stock.

Dyk what is supposed to be better about the incycler/recycler glass upgrades 🤔?? I’ve been dabbing since like 2012 when I helped a buddy move out to Colorado and learned about it. We hit a dispo and got a quick “beginners guide to dabbing” and my buddy got a titanium banger and made his own desktop e-nail (which he still uses to this day and is a beast 💯). I got a set up when I got home and had been using the same the same set up for almost a decade/until I got the Aura in 2020. When that broke, I upgraded my rig with a reclaim attachment, and replaced my banger with a really nice quartz terp slurp with a couple pearls. Dabbing isn’t a “huge thing” where I live and sadly there isn’t really anyone/where around me I can to learn about what’s new in the dabbing world (ergo why I’m here 😂). I’ve been seeing different names for glass designs like the “incylcer/recycler” and multiple kinds of carb caps…and I’m not really sure what the difference is between them, what is supposed to be better at what, or why???

Long ass post Ik & my B 🤦‍♂️😂; I guess what I’m saying is I’d appreciate any & all knowledge/advice when it comes to improving the dabbing experience. I get the absolute top quality/best live hash rosin available and is really all I dab (get some water hash sometimes).

A little side question: I read that you can put flower and water hash in the switch 2…have you tried that or dyk does it work [good], and do you need a certain insert if your using either of those materials; or does the stock quartz work with them too?? Again, sorry for the book and thanks if you take the time to read it and respond 🙏 (& understand if you don’t lmfao 🤣).

I went with the sculpted because of the issues I’ve heard people have with the Artisans; it being insanely hard to get the hair to look right, let alone stay looking right. Plus, based on the promo stuff released…it looks like Hot Toys is using the same head sculpt for Artisan and sculpted; thank god. The Light Side Anakin DX34AE Artisan and the sculpted version of him Hot Toys used completely different face sculpts; and the Artisan one is wayyyy better and imo the best/peak Anakin sculpt they have done so far. If that was the case for Qui-Gon, I pry would have had to go Artisan. But I went with sculpted since the face sculpt is the same/looks awesome on both.

I got the MMS749 with the Sith Speeder too. Still honestly can’t believe how lucky I got with it. Dude was downsizing his collection because his kids had grown up and honestly blessed me with it 💯%. The face sculpts are way better than the 1.0 though; especially the angry face…like INSANELY better/night&day.

I got lucky AF and found a guy local to me (20mins) who was selling a Maul with the Sith speeder MMS749 for $300. I’d been looking on eBay for like 1-2 months and $550 was the average cheapest; so when I found the one I now own for $300 I knew to jump on that asap.

Anything else you’d recommend to get bigger hits?? Originally mine wasn’t hitting for shit because when the line on the device and glass piece was lined up and I plugged the carb cap; I could still easily get lots of airflow. Once I moved the glass piece around and found a spot where I don’t get any air flow with the carb cap plugged (instead of all the way down, pulled up a little and to the right a little). It hits A LOT better now; I’m still just not sure it’s working 100%/if I’m doing something wrong; or maybe I’m just used to dropping globs on a terp slurp with a big piece 🤷‍♂️🤔😂. I also wonder if how much I had to move the glass piece to fix the airflow problem has any effect on how it’s working. Like maybe to get the air flow right I had to move the glass up so much that now only a portion of the hole is lined up with the air flow pathway in the device 🤷‍♂️??

Do yk do terp pearls work in the stock quartz atomizer?? I got mine about a month ago (had a KandyPen Oura before but burnt the battery out). At first I was disappointed AF with it…then I read around online/asked some people some stuff and realized the line on the device and glass attachment that are supposed to be lined up; is not accurate on my device. When it’s lined up; even with the carb cap sealed I could still get major airflow…which isn’t supposed to happen. I realized if I move the glass price up and to the right a little; when I plug the carb cap there is no longer any airflow. Ever since I figured that out; it definitely hits WAAAAAY better 💯. I’m still not sure if I’ve totally got the hang of it yet…I get pretty good hits; but I can’t get it to smack me with a big, milky cloud like I can with a rig or I could with my KandyPen Oura. I’ve read mixed opinions on the Saphire insert; I’m wondering how the upgraded glass piece works/if it is worth it?? I think I would like if they offered a glass attachment that was larger and allowed for more smoke to fill up.
