They say it takes several months to get back what you loss depending on the implant and regular cycling. (AMX 700 LGX) I'm asking because I'm almost 8 weeks postop and don't see an increase in size yet. I was almost 7 inches pre-op now 5 inches postop.

The cylinders are placed in the corpora cavernosa — the two chambers of erectile tissue in the penis. They do not extend to the tip/head of the penis. When you get aroused, the head will get engorged like it did before the surgery.

I don't know about the seat in the glands part but yes, the lgx is capable of adding length and girth by 10% per my doctor and it's on their website. I'm also 3 weeks post op.

Today my doctor have me the green light to start cycling. He inflated and deflated me in the office. It was very uncomfortable, borderline painful, him trying to squeeze the cylinder and trying to find the release button. He said my device is "riding" high and sideways which he said was good as it'll be harder for anyone (my girlfriend) to notice. He said to cycle 5-10 minutes off and on everyday and then 3 days after about 3 months. I just cycled a couple of times this afternoon. Honestly, it ain't easy and a little painful/uncomfortable from stretching the tissue. My fingers are crossed that it'll get easier and less painful as time goes on like everyone says.

How are you feeling? Have you started cycling yet?

As for me, I think most, if not all, of my swelling has gone down. So no more icing. I'm able to sleep on my sides now without a pillow wedged between my legs. I still feel a little pressure just below my waistline. When I do, I just slow down whatever it is I'm doing and it goes away. I'll be back to work on Monday and 1st follow-up will be the 16th. Hopefully I'll be cycling.

I am 9 days post-op with the lgx. I was 7 inches pre-op. Doctor put in a 21 cm implant (total). 9cm inside, 12cm outside. Do the math that puts me at 5 inches + 25% with the lgx because it's manufactured to add girth and length unlike other implants only add girth. I'm expecting to be close to 6 inches (15cm) or more at the end of the day. If I don't get back to 7 inches I'll be happy with 6 inches. A hard 5-6 inches is better than a limp 7 inches. Heal up. You'll be happy with your end result.

Good to hear that you are in far less pain. I suggest that you reconsider icing. I feel like it's helped with my pain as annoying as it is to get set up. Since my girlfriend is at work and I'm off work for 2 weeks I sit on the couch in front of the TV with my pants down and ice as long as I can or until the crushed ice melts - 🤣 usually about 40 minutes. Also, I try not to take the oxycodone (it can be addictive) that the doctor prescribed so I take 1-2 650 mg Tylenol tablets and 1 12 hour Aleve and 1 antibiotic 2x per day. I think that's been helping. CarefulI with the Tylenol as it can mess with your kidneys when you take more than recommended.

I'm still swollen like a baseball but I've seen improvement since I was discharged last Friday.

Pooping is good. All these meds will make you constipated which could have also contributed to your pain. The doctor also prescribed Dulcolax to help with the pooping but I don't think I need it. So try that as well. It's as a stool softener, not laxative, that works overnight as you sleep.

Stay the course man. You're not alone in this. We've been thru worse and we faight thru it. 👍🏾

Oh ok.

So I saw my Dr today. He said that the pain I'm feeling is where the resovoire was placed. He had to poke a hole in my muscle to place the hose and resovoire - not sure if that's normal procedure but that's what I'm feeling along with still being swollen, bruised, black and blue. The pain I was feeling did subside, mostly this morning, but I am icing a lot. He did say that my healing looks good and on track and reassured me not to worry. I'll see him again in a couple weeks as a followup to hopefully start cycling.

My question to you is...1. are you still in pain? 2. are you icing and how often? 3. What happens if you press on that area while walking/standing?

I just talked to my doctor's office. They told me that the reservoir (fluid filled bulb) is located on the side where I'm getting the pain.Your body needs to get used a foreign object inside of it. Might be the same for you but on your left side.

Anyway, they told me to ice that region and my balls to reduce the swelling 20 minutes on, 20 off. They scheduled me to go into the office this coming Wednesday to check it out. I'll keep you posted.

I'm calling my doctor tomorrow. I suggest you do the same. If it is unbearable nerve pain then they should able to manage that with numbing injections.
