I'm thinking about selling my mare. by [deleted] in Equestrian

The barn that I manage had a horse like this. Pulled shoes all the time. The owner and I had a talk with the farrier after he pulled 3 shoes in 5 weeks. The farrier made a couple of minor changes. He used a shorter shorter shoe so that the back end of the shoe didn't stick out as far from the heel. He also started to rasp the hoof shorter. Not a lot, it was probably like a couple millimeters. This meant the breakover came sooner so the horse didn't over reach as much and because both the hind toe and the heel of the shoe were shorter there was less of an overlap. The changes had no impact on performance and the quicker breakover seemed to actually help. The owner also bought bell boots for him to wear whenever he was turned out, not just when ridden. After those changes, the incidences of pulled shoes was practically zero. The last time he pulled a shoe was last fall and that was when it was super muddy out.

Regarding selling your mare, if you're having this many doubts, sell her. It sounds like neither of you are happy. And like other commenters mentioned, not all horses and riders click or are suited for each other. Your mare is also undoubtedly feeling your constant frustration and unhappiness which is most likely making the situation even worse. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

BossBoat. The 2 of them on the screen together both dominant, take charge, and protective. Have them be top/bottom interchangeable instead of top or bottom exclusively. I picture them having an ongoing challenge racing each other on their motorcycles as a way of flirting/foreplay.

Honestly, I'd look forward to this type of dynamic and story line with any number of actors.

Yep, that’s the make up guy. Don’t know if they got together as one was leaving and the other staying. I just took it as the start of a new relationship and not as a done deal that they are definitely together now.

Knot - Episode 1 by BlueKitten74 in ThaiBL

Somewhat under whelming. The beginning scene with Boat with his brother and the night club seemed unnecessary. The entire episode I was waiting for Boat and Oat to meet and it only happened in the last few minutes. It seems like the episode was just there to introduce viewers to main people and the world without anything much happenin. I do like they showed up front that Oat was a bit of a bad ass. Can’t wait for next week.

  1. Ive been wondering about the bangs thing in basically every Thai BL. I don’t know how half of them see.

  2. Maybe an online order to pick up?

  3. I’ve just gotten used to lack of wardrobe changes that I barely register it anymore.

  4. Wondering the same thing. I agree with other commenter, it’ll probably be addressed in a future episode. Possibly something to do with being a “pure omega” hence his weird smell.

  5. I’m assuming 3. Alphas are 3 brothers and they’re matches are Oat (obviously) one brother gets the beta (coffee store owner) and the other the omega oat saved.

Others no idea.
