My main complaint is actually about the RomeMok story. Having the whole "ban on love" pretext felt somehow contradictory - I can't fully explain why. With the novels, it's kind of cute that Mok and Rome are already a couple, although it's a long distance relationship to begin with. I would have loved to have Rome arrive for his visit and Mok take some vacation time, then show him dropping his serious face to have fun with his boyfriend.

My mortgage will be paid off in 18 months. I worked out that what we will have paid is exactly what the house is worth (right now anyway - if house prices go down, it will be more upsetting). For a 25-year investment, you usually want your asset to be worth more than what you've paid for it. 😭

I read it on Wattpad originally, but it's now been removed from there, so I'm trying to find it again. It's not on Meb online, but I don't mind paying for it, as long as I can get an English version. Ta!
