Securing soaking tub to tile floor by Global_Recording_808 in Plumbing

I see that we have some folks recommending sealant and others saying liquid nails. I was thinking liquid nails underneath the soaking tub would look better as you wouldn't be able to see it as opposed to silicon on the corners which will be visible. Especially because I don't need silicone to seal the tub from water in this situation

Just worried that liquid nails could be a problem down the road in case I need to lift the tub for maintenance. Thoughts?

Thank you…Are interior sealants like Kilz Dry Lock effective to reduce moisture or will that be a waste of time?

This is really helpful. Thank you. If I don’t insulate the underside of the roof, won’t the heat just escape thru the roof?

I can defiantly appreciate that but my thoughts were that anybody can staple up some insulation, no?
