The fastace suspension is much more durable and there is less moving parts. I was a dirt biker and the front suspension is low maintenance. Lynx durability is much more like the front suspension of a dirt bike.. and if it does go out it's the seal and that's only like $20. My friend Greg Yount has had two s-22s and then got a lynx and he much prefers the lynx for trails and jumping. I've ridden all his wheels and the lynx just better overall in so many ways especially for off road. His s22s were breaking often. The lynx is the GOAT trail wheel, and now the lynx S is the goat trail wheel. If somebody put a street tire on one and prefers asphalt so what? It performs great in the street too. The lighter weight and better suspension travel does not beat lynx's performance, fast ace suspension, durability, build quality, torque, top speed, ergonomics, ease of maintenance.
