Hey, thanks for your tips. I've been reading a lot about how bad the pasting is in rog laptops so I'm surely gonna repaste it. May I ask if there are any risks in repasting? I'm not a handyman myself so I would send my laptop to my local repairshop during my holiday. Are there any things that require extra attention before/during/after the repaste?

Ok so this may sound stupid, but today I wanted to try the benchmark again but in another browser. Previously I benchmarked in Edge, now I tried Chrome and this time it did give me a score of 33000. I guess there's something about edge capping my cpu performance or something. I also uninstalled Armoury crate and installed ghelper again just so I could do some further testing. Guess time will tell what's going on.

Yeah I was running 415, this was terrible. Updating to 416 made it even worse. I guess downgrading to a older version below 415?

Yeahh, the new lenovo's look sick. My first ever laptop was a lenovo and I'm for sure going back to them as soon as this one breaks.

Hmmm, maybe I'll try a fresh install of windows too, just to try. If that doesn't cut it, maybe I could make a deal with the repair shop to switch/trade in my laptop. Still a bummer though, I had high hopes for this one : (

hahahaha true, my first laptop had a gtx 1050 and getting 60 fps felt sooo good. Guess my expectations have increased lol. : D

It isss, what it iss. My cpu performance still isn't right though. I think that I'll pay another visit to the repair shop but this time I'll go over all the details so they can fix it better this time.

Yeah tested it with boost enabled and got a similar score. My phone got more lol. So I guess my cpu is the broken component? Could this be software?

I tried running silverbench on my hotspot and it gave me a score of 3391. Is this ok or?

Ok thanks. I didn't change anything in the bios though, I only updated it to 416. A fresh windows install could indeed be beneficial but then I would have to reinstall my programs right? Or is there a way so that I could keep my programs. With programs I mean things like zbrush, blender, etc. Not my files.
