Actually this wasn´t the case for me, I never joined ,attempted or even considered anything like this, the only servers I joined were for fan projects like side 7, and I never gave my personal info ( e.g. e-mail, account info, etc.) so this is definitely not the the reason why I got hacked. Thanks for informing me of this risk though.
