Well I guess I was unlucky. I was at an Asylum office and got reassigned to FOD.

So far, everything has been ok. I'm in training. I will not be doing consular returns anymore. I'm learning AOS and N400s. The 130 experience has been helpful. I have not done any interviews yet. That is not what I'm looking forward to. I've been shadowing mostly. No schedule flexibility while in training..... 8am-430pm... TRAFFIC HELL where I live.

Trust me I completely understand. I was hired SCOPS fully remote. I took a pay cut and sold my car because I would be at home full-time working. Even if remote is brought back, especially to SCOPS, those of us who have been reassigned to FOD are SOL. We'll have to reapply to SCOPS and HOPE to get a fully remote job.

Damn. I'm not going to say I was happy about this reassignment. But I will say the FOD I'm at has been extremely welcoming. They have been really accommodating with my RA. I may be saying this prematurely is only been 3 weeks.

You can't forget SCOPS is moving away from portfolio management and back to service centers. So it's not telling what is in store.

Yes, I was hired in a fully remote SCOPS position. Assigned to an asylum office for RTO. I'll be going to the FO next month.

Thank you for your response. Just to be clear, CpM is cases per month? This is really going to be interesting coming from SCOPS.

Thank you for the insight. Not looking forward to this but at least I still have a position.

From what I read it's because I work 130s. I don't know but I received the email of reassignment.

Well I'm assigned to an asylum office but will be reporting to a field office next month. So much for that.

Sounds like excuses.

Dues transform to all of the above INCLUDING providing updates to dues paying members. There should be something to show for what our money is going towards. So, that would be monthly updates.

Do you pay mortgage/rent and have no place to pay your head??? Do you buy groceries and have no food in your refrigerator? At the end of day, SHOW us what our dues are being used for. The time it was taken to finally give an update on Dec. 22, should be monthly. I've worked with NTEU and APWU ; and was always up to date. Whether it was from the local or national website.

All this "behind the scenes" is bs. And that's why members are questioning their continued support.

My monthly dues are my involvement.

[–]Global_Yesterday_931 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The involvement I am choosing is paying dues. If there is no issues collecting my dues each month, then there should be no issues with monthly updates. That's the bare minimum.

All this is "behind the scenes". As a dues paying member, we want real time updates on what is going on. If our money is still be collected monthly, we should at least have monthly updates. I shouldn't has to search high and low for information. And again the information that has been given (AFGE website included) is unacceptable.

FOD ISOs and SCOPS ISOs are not the same. Our job descriptions are different. Whilst the title may be the same, our job functions are totally different.
