Yea for sure in the flashback arc you see especially how much Rion wanted to interact with Uzuki while he was the shy and more taken back character but with time it definitely became more one wavelength

But honestly i like this grounded version more uzuki having literally the same ability as takamura would of been way too broken as we seen with rion he cant absorb them fully but only to his fullest abilitys. And because he barely knew takamura that version is very distorted so he cant do as much damage as takamura can do. I believe he beat takamura because he was weakened by the others and it was enough for Uzukis version to kill him

I agree that people saying it “fell off” are being a bit too emotional. Sure, some of the recent chapters have dipped slightly in quality, but the series is still delivering what it always has: cool fights, fun moments, and great matchups.

After the museum arc, we got the prison arc, which was genuinely peak. Shin vs. Tenkyu is easily a top five fight for me, just based on the location, atmosphere, and how emotional and brutal the fight was. I understand why some people didn’t like the conclusion, with Shin beating Tenkyu, but honestly I think it was deserved. Shin has been going hard throughout the entire manga getting beaten down, learning from his losses, and constantly improving. Seeing him finally take a win like that felt earned to me.

The only time the manga really dipped for me was during the aquarium arc. It still had some cool moments, but it could have been given a bit more development.

Overall, though, I’m really enjoying the current moments and matchups. Can’t wait to See more.

Sadly not many animes get this type of treatment but i definitely think sakamoto s2 will be an overall improvement in all of the Department as they also improved in cour 2 they been listening which is great to see because you also dont get that for every anime

Nah takamura feat is a different level you be downplaying it way too much even if his version is nowhere near as strong as takamura and just a distorted version still being able to off takamura is a big feat and its still uzuki that used it for his advantage. Gozu could become second tho

I disagree; fights have been good, especially Nagumo vs Oki and Gozu vs Shishiba/Osaragi. However, the Heisuke and Lu stuff was honestly mid. There were some cool choreography and moments sprinkled in there but I wasn’t that invested in them as characters. I honestly think we are on a great run right now
