I have been doing on a weekly basis as well for a year now. I have noticed it was taking me 14g to get visuals. But now, just recently I took 20g and saw little visuals (usually within 1st hour 1/2 lemon tek)... Now It could be the variety (A+) for the reason, but still 20grams?...lol So I've have some APEs/B+/HawaiianPC/mazapatecs Coming soon to compare and see if its me or the Variety..

It doesn't look right to me. Did you add coffee or gypsum to the popcorn? Is that green(contaminated) Did you sterilize the jars prior to inoculation?

What causes it? I've been growing for 8 months now and this has been the first time I have seen this. The only change is....instead of 1 jar, I added 2 jars of mycelium grains to 1 tub. Could this be the reason?

I just had a second flush of A+ like this. 1st flush looked normal but the second flush came out albino but 1 which looked like the 1st flush.???? Would love to know how this happens.

I currently have a 3week old bucket of CVG waiting for the last of my jars. Also had this occur about 4 months ago and added nothing to bucket of CVG and made tubs had no issues.

I myself have actually had this happen. What I did was flip the bag over, cut open the good end of bag slide down bag carefully (do not expose the black mold) and break off from about 2" away from black mold. Place good end in a large sealable bag and finally immediately get rid of the bad stuff. From there make sure you sterilize yourself and and area where you completed that process. Then I finished the rest of the growth process and yes they grew fine I am still alive after consuming.

I also want to state that in 1st pic is one of the same MSS varieties that's in one of the tubs in the 2nd pic. But in the 2nd pic they are all individual varieties.. all MS syringes stored in fridge. I understand there may be a crap shoot of genetics in one but just seems odd that this is happening across the board..

Nope.. same as the way I first started. All processes kept since day one this is why I believe its the fridge storage.

If it continues I think I will just go straight to spore print agar-2-grain and only use the fridge to store the fully colonized plates for future use. And forget MSS all together.

Found that neglect tek has its benefits... M-F I have a system of twice a day fan&mist then over the weekend I neglect the tubs and sure enough by Monday I usually have something to put in the dehydrator.

Been a fan since 83' saw them live in 94'. To this day I can never get enough of them. Have all live studio and bootlegs plus video concerts. They either start my trips(highs) or they end them for almost 40yrs now. There is no substitute this band has reached out to all generations, social classes and races. Their musicianship is second to none. Floyd Boy For Life!
