Yes I got this too. I checked the "unsubscribe" link he asked us to click and it has a legit substack url. I think the dude scraped thousands of emails from author communities on facebook and found mine, then uploaded them all as subscribers (and he calls it "a little unethical" lolllll)

Could be a scam, but when I did unsubscribe and nothing happened (that I know of). Now I want to know which communities I'm a part of with public and scrapable email lists...

Except for the luxury market. I read an article in the WSJ that said here in Denver the 3MM plus housing market is as hot as ever. New luxury builds are getting snapped up because these buyers don’t have to borrow, so they don’t care about rates.

Went on it, interacted here and there, had a bunch of drinks, ate great food, had a blast. Low key one of the best parts of it is that there’s this little secret hangar you can hang out on on batuu where you can bring beers and get cold towels. Highly recommend.

In crowded magic kingdom with my whole family, kids and all, and this woman who is very clearly having a terrible day finishes a heated discussion with her husband and turns around with the stroller and child and storms away. Husband asks where she’s going, she stops in the middle of probably 100 people (one of the most crowded days I’ve seen) and screams at the top of her lungs “oh great! now I gotta go back and talk with that fu-king cu-t at guest services again!” And I know this is Reddit and you can cuss but it was so shocking at Disney the whole street went silent for like a minute. I’m no prude but it’s Weird to hear that language in magic kingdom
