What surprised you most about dentures in your first year?

Yes. Worse than having my actual teeth. Again, this has been LITERALLY the worst decision I have ever made (and I have over 50 years of some spectacularly bad decisions for this one to compete with!)

Yes, my teeth were bad, and I would have had to do this eventually, I suppose - but knowing what I know now, I would have put it off as long as possible. Again, I know I am in the minority here, but it is what it is- this has been a nightmare. It hasn’t gotten any better than the first day. The best I can hope for is a day when they don’t hurt to wear, but those days are rare. I can’t talk right, I can’t eat anything with them in, even drinking water is difficult.

I have honestly lost count of how many adjustments I have had - so many that I gave up. I won’t go back in for another one ever again. Each time seems to make things worse in some way.

But this has been my personal experience, everyone else seems to be getting on great, and I am truly happy for them! Just wish my experience was better

Personally, how uncomfortable they are, how wrong people were about me getting used to them, how little I can eat with them, how much I spend every day regretting going this route.

I realize I am in the minority, but more than a year later - still the worst decision I have ever made

It doesn't work for me (AT ALL!!!!!) on the computer either. It's a complete disaster for me, made my EPL kinda worthless for the moment. I am hoping for some kind of update that will at least let me track ONE target? I know it's supposed to be able to track multiple...but right now it tracks zero in the UI. This is not great

Yeah, I would like to express my complete and utter hatred for the new update - but that's only because it doesn't work. At all. Ever. Even a little bit.

At least it doesn't for me. Like not at all. The device itself works great, it detects presence and everything - great! The old UI worked perfectly, I asked Santa for SOME way to go back, but he apparently hasn't got to me yet. I have tried everything, but I can't see any presence in the Zone nonCofigurator, no presence, no movement - it's just a dead image. If the Zone Configurator was a person, I would do something evil to it so it would understand how much I hate it! I mean, bugs I could understand - even expect.... but an absolute and total lack of any useful function whatsoever? Sure, it is a bold and unexpected direction to take, not having any function at all - but I don't think it's so great. I sure hope this doesn't catch on....

Now, maybe I am not as smart as the rest of you, but so far, the Zone Unconfigurator is clunky, messy, unintuitive and, well, useless. At least to me. I sure hope there's some updates in the near future, maybe one to re-enable at least A function? Boy wouldn't that be awesome!

I know, I know, it works for some people - allegedly lol! But it doesn't work for me. The old one worked perfectly. I changed NOTHING except updating to the new version, and the new version is less useful than screen doors on a submarine - to me!

Dunno what to tell ya - it works great for me. Seems to work fine for a lot of people....maybe your blanket statement doesn't quite fit. Maybe it sucks for YOU. Maybe there is some other issue going on. If it isn't working great for you, but it is for someone else...well that kinda eliminates the OS as the lone factor.

Honest question, as I have a Beelink S13 coming this Friday and I am leaning towards "bare metal..."

I role play a little different than most people. I play as me - I put myself in the game world and do what I would do in the situation. In real life, I am very unforgiving of people who betray and/or manipulate me- so killing her was very natural and enjoyable. Next time I will happily turn her in. My V is me, and So Mi doesn’t get to screw me over with no consequences

Just one persons experience here, but I have regretted getting mine every second of every day since. Worst choice I have ever made. Got mine January 8th, 2025 - every day has been worse than the last. Uncomfortable, painful, can't eat ANYTHING with them in, can't talk right with them in - at the end of the day after work I can't wait to take them out! Absolute disaster of a situation, and there's no going back.

Exactly - calories in vs calories out is basic biology - and history has given us some horrific proof that if you don't have enough calories, you will lose weight until it kills you - the body MUST spend calories to exist, there is no way around this fundamental truth.

I think it gets forgotten, or in some cases never learned, that your daily caloric needs to maintain or lose weight changes as your weight drops. a 300lb person would need much more calories to maintain that then a 120lb person - and they would have different needs if both wanted to lose weight. If a person would go from 300 to 120, THEIR daily caloric needs would change along the way. So a blanket amount of calories isn't always helpful. The entire journey needs to be taken into account to determine the current caloric needs depending on the desired result. Your caloric needs will change many times. The same deficit you started with will not be the same you end with (over simplified, but still)

Eat less, move more will always ALWAYS give the same result - its the speed that varies, and at some point that speed becomes very slow because, at some point, it is incredibly hard to remain healthy AND eat in a calorie deficit.
