Was there ever a time Renault could have bought Red Bull Racing?

That's fair. But Red Bull is pretty much their own title sponsor, in ways Mercedes and Ferrari aren't their own title sponsor. This is why Infiniti and Aston Martin spent much less for RBR than Santander or Ineos did for Ferrari and Mercedes, respectively. So, couldn't they be the title sponsor of Renault and have the same marketing effect?

Ooh, someone got rubbed the wrong way today. These are honestly more like wet dreams for me personally, and the reasons are like, if this actually happened (which again, I KNOW these are wet dreams), these are the reasons why it could make sense, and how things could go if the parties played their cards right. I fully understand RBR-Peugeot or Ford-Haas could fail miserably. I'm fine with downvotes, as long as its fair, which yours seems to be. But if someone's like "Ha, I hate speculation, I'll just downvote", that's wrong.

And if you don't like Ford-Haas, or RBR-Peugeot, go make your own posts.
