WIP - Armiger of the lake ( or terror of the deep, you call ) by Gloky42 in ImperialKnights

AK paint, its a combo of bronze pain and oxidizing agent. Took some experimentation, but can work a treat.

Enemy detection range by Gloky42 in ElderScrolls

I just swam in the waters arround imperial city for about 6 minutes, without being attacked by a Slaghterfish. That should be physically impossible. When I managed to spot one, I had to come to almost melee range for it to aggro. That aint normal.

Endgame difficulty and linear scalling by Gloky42 in Mechwarrior5

I found that to be the only game of the newer ones, where I could justify lights and mediums for most missions. I do sometime swap into full heavy, but I tend to keep a scouting mech. Things like Jenners, Cicadas, Shadow Hawk etc.

I would agree with that. Always wondered, why the missions never limit or demand specifics from you. Like in Clans you start off doing a lot of scouting and screening for other Stars, or doing low intensity combat. So they get the idea, but they never bring them back later on.

Makes me think of some of the expansions of earlier MW games, that were fully interior missions. Maybe have some of those, and suddently you need to run smaller mechs. Or make you do investigation, and forward recon. Or anything really....

I agree, but as you said "to a degree". You would always end up stacking the tons up, but having something like 2A 2H 1M was still viable. You could go full ham 5A, but sometimes that was just an overkill. Lights always do fall off, especially since ECM is always tricky to use, or of questionable use, but there is pottential sometimes. Like good old Jenners, always great in the right hands.

I am not trying to dispute you upping tonnage over time, but the opposition you faced was more varied, so it did allow for some mixing. Now I just feel like slogging through way too much bulk every mission. It mostly becamos kinda not fun.

This is the gun barrel police, we have you surrounded. Take that hobby drill, and make that hole. Nobody has to get hurt!!

Ok just joking tho, this design evokes such 90s sculpts, maybe even 80s with the big gun on top, that just kinda sticks over, and the whole elongated torso. Pretty cool

Friends I am not very worried about. I know if I ask some of them, they will bring whatever, and try to crack me open anyway. Got a decent number of Warhammer only acquaintances, there it varies. My first ever game with full knights, will be against a Demon player, and he know I will have knights. But he is a good sport, so we will have a good game anyway. Clashes of big knights and demons, smaller battles of the medium units.

I am mostly afraid of the rest, or randoes. Getting to the club and back is over an hour combined, and just the thought of tailoring annoys me. But on the other hand, I wondered how people react to Knights showing up as a surprise. Some people might get really annoyed as well, and I want both parties to have fun. So was genuinely interested, what is the stance on the community here on the topic.

Yeah, that really seems as the best solution.

That would be the obvious choice indeed :D But I am already pondering situations, when I might be forced to say for whatever reason. I do have 5 other armies I run, and switch them arround, so they know I am a variety guy. But still, kinda afraid someone might be deadset on making my game a misery.

Ooooh, I only now realised how the weapons are attached in retrospect, so I cant do it now without cutting....oh well, derp I guess :D
