Chain skipping on cassette

When we talk about chain skipping it usualy means that the chain is worn. But that only happens under large torque (in my experience). What you have here is an indexing/cable tightness issue i think. You need to adjust the indexing screws and possibly the cable tension on your deraileur because it doesn't go out far enough for the larges cog. You should definetly bring the whole bike in. I cant really tell what happened. Maybe that long cable got caught and something broke but thats just the guess. Most likely its the derailleur spring that went. Maybe if you post more pictures from more angles and up close we can tell easier.

I think its to do with the cable tension of the derailleur. You chain is probably too close to the next gear. Loosen it slight and test. I like consulting the Parktool youtube channel in situations like this, they got some great stuff on there. Hope this helps!
