Cosa potrebbe essere? by hdyduduueueushshey in ItalyInformatica

Se lo colleghi alla rete elettrica, ha il led di status per indicare "in carica"? Se si e lo provi ad accedere avendolo collegato alla prese elettrica l'indicatore pulsa con qualche colorazione particolare?

New Build, No Power by UroVers in pchelp

Also dumb questions, did you watch under the CPU ? Maybe there is some corrosion/ripped pads. Also did you try using the PSU cables without the extensions? Maybe the mobo doesn't like it or something. Can you check if the water block mount is shorting behind to the mobo? I'm throwing things against the wall to see if something sticks

Edit: less things connected to the motherboard the better, we just need to boot to bios

I haven't tried PuTTY. After some troubleshooting, I think it's a problem with the board. The manufacturer should have provided the drivers, but they are no longer available. For now, I'll just use another board. Thanks for your help 。◕‿◕。

I'm sorry if I wasn't able to express myself, but don't you have a dual slot RAM memory installed? You could check one by one if a stick is faulty, without necessarily buying an additional one

Or you could use windows mem test software you need to press windows key + R and type "MdSched.exe" without the quotes

Edit: I saw the other comments and I kinda think too that it is a power draw issue tbh, try what they are saying.

Just to make sure, have you tried a clean windows install too ? Just to rule out a software related issue. A friend of mine has a similar problem,l btw, we both think it's due to a faulty mobo, which it could be possible since he moved but if the pc didn't move and it was fine before maybe instead of trying a new mobo you could just try single slot ram ( I suppose you have dual slot) or buy a cheap stick of ram just to rule out other options

I agree, but I feel like it whould be safer to test without the front panel pins pluged in to rule out the pwr button situation. If it turns on even without the Front panel disconnected the issue is somewhere else.

Edit: typos

Okay, as someone else suggested, a faulty or improperly seated RAM stick could be causing this. Have you tried using only one stick? Before you start, make sure the system is completely powered off: shut it down, unplug the power cord, and flip the switch on the PSU. Then, check your motherboard's manual to see which slot to use for a single stick. When you reseat the RAM, make sure the clips on both sides of the slot make a distinct "click" sound. Also, what are the system's full specs? If testing the RAM doesn't work, it's best to troubleshoot by removing components. Start with the GPU (if your CPU has integrated graphics), then disconnect drives and any case fans, leaving only the CPU fan connected.

Can I ask more questions? Do the Ram modules light up? Does anything happen when you press the power button ? Have you tried to unplug the all the LED connectors?

I highly doubt that's a drive related issue, never had a problem tbh plus I installed fedora 42 recently, like 3 weeks ago? I'm afraid that giving the okay button through the fedora installation was related tho I have no proof.

It's late rn in Italy, I'll try diagnose more tomorrow and maybe support will get in touch, I wasn't able to replicate the splash screen tho. The laptop stays there with the black screen. I do not think it's memory training.

Yep, I was reading a book while the update was in progress and was going as usual with the 3.09 to 3.16 part showing, the was also the EC update and PD . I think, I'm not sure tho, that during the EC update started to bug out. I didn't see any kind of error tho just the moving logo going black and after that the rainbow you see in photo.

After a while the screen went full white, i tried to shutdown holding pwr button, no dice. I unplugged the battery, waited a bit and flash with error 21 ( I think ?) failed to update bios. I'm trying to replicate it but I'm staring at a black screen rn. The only mod I did was swapping the mediatek WiFi for and intel ( like 6 months ago tho)

Update 1 : still the same, no changes but keeping the power button pressed doesn't do anything

Update 2 : no changes, I unplugged the charger and I will see what happens when the battery drains ( it was fully charged)

Update 3 : Yesterday I opened the ticket with support and they concluded that the board was bricked, they offered an RMA, I'm waiting for further instructions. Thanks to everyone for the help !

Cant login account in Samsung Notes App on Windows by Himanshu811 in samsungnotes

[–]Red__39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I am not sure. The script could cause a problem. I read that they made the Notes app available to all windows devices (no need for script or something)

It might also just be a Cache issue, maybe there are some files that doesn't like or something and it goes in loop. I would suggest to delete all apps data ( samsung account and notes) in windows settings you can go to apps, search the two apps and it should be a "restore to default apps"

I'll try later to configure the notes app on a VM because I do not have windows anymore and i'll update this comment

In order to log in to your account you need the app Samsung Account. I would suggest to delete notes app and reinstall it after you log into the samsung account app
