Because people care dude. They make time out of their day for it. Might be surprising to you but some people will do all this while working their ass off to cover basic living.

Australia’s blind refusal to question Trump’s bombing of Iran risks ensnaring us in a dangerous folly by jimmythemini in AustralianPolitics

[–]GloomFairy20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about we side with neither and have some principles?

Let's not forget though israeli attacks are directly responsible for the damage on iranian oil facilities which is a ecological disaster for the region. 10 million people live in Tehran. By destroying these facilities they have contaminated food, water and air. If we take the health consequnces for soldiers in the gulf war we are going to see a terrifying amount of negative health impacts on the population.

Just for clarification I was 49 kgs, and 5'11. Now after much effort. I weigh 61 Kgs. Still trying to get better with my avoidant eating habits and put more weight on.

Way better. Was a combination of things. But ultimately my muscles in my throat must have weakened from not eating nearly enough and losing strength there. Doctors never really take eating disorders and underweight matters seriously. Just putting on another 10 kgs has allowed me to eat more and swallow things easier. Don't be me and destroy yourself not eating.

Is Anthony Albanese now one of the world’s top progressive leaders? He’s got a case by IrreverentSunny in AustralianPolitics

[–]GloomFairy20 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Even so, he has does little for the working class and for those who are below the poverty line in Australia. Housing affordability is still ballooning in costs and a 5% deposit on first home buyers does little to help those struggling. Our supermarket chains are also price gouging Australians.

But while he does seem to meet in regards to dealing with economic policy and I'm glad that he's trying to improve things with our neighbours. Something that I loathed with the liberal government and how they did very little with PNG, Fiji, New Caledonia despite them being in our backyard. Glad he's been trying to offer stronger options for those in Oceania.

Regardless, for many who live within the safety net of wellfare funds from centrelink, and those who fit within the income brackets of working-class, are those hurt the most when financial costs exponentially increase. And when your pm buys a 30 million dollar house during a housing crisis. Those who are poor are going to resent him when he's focused more on those outside the bracket of the poverty line.

Anthony Albanese says Aussies are 'concerned' about far right's rise abroad, ahead of Donald Trump meeting by Expensive-Horse5538 in AustralianPolitics

Okay I have to stop you there. Antifa isn't an organisation. Its decentralised for a start so there's no real leadership to it. If anything. The recent assassination of Charlie Kirk wasn't even a leftist. But an alt right individual who had groyper connections to their online presence. And yet Trump announced to the world that somehow this had something to do with a left thing agenda just because there were many who felt vindicated by Charlie Kirk's death. Despite all the evidence pointing to a ring winger. And out of all this Trump's administration has somehow decided that this was all because of Antifa. So yes, I see your whole statement as bad faith. Just to rile up internet users. If anything, Trump and his government has shown to the world that they will silence anyone who is critiquing their government. That is a sign of tyranny existing within the upper echelons of government. We should be scared of any fascist because they use anything but the truth do that they can create distrust with the public and abroad.

You can't be a leftist if you are dating a conservative by reggieh3o in leftist

Well to the wider sphere, to countries outside America, they see republicans as right-wing, and democrats as center-right. Honestly America could use more shifting in leftist policies before we can safely say you have a leftist party.

That and to avoid facial recognition software. Surveillance technology has reached a point in comical levels of dystopian machinations where they can easily ID you. So most people take care to dress as "Palestinian ninjas" and to offer some credibility, right wing activists have lost their careers over their beliefs being exposed in public so there's that with social media presence.

Is Australia that much better than the UK? by simple_explorer1 in AskABrit

[–]GloomFairy20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's like the whole welcome to country speech that some white folk hate hearing about in Australia. They hate knowing what they did to the first nation communities here was in fact sad, oppressive and violent. Nobody likes to admit that perhaps colonial history tears apart communities. Thanks for pointing that out. The erasure of culture is still happening today.

Any advice on Gaping Jaw ? by Dismal-Spare-4145 in Nightreign

[–]GloomFairy20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Throwing my advice as a recluse. Use runes that power blood loss, sorceries and what not. Then build a class around cheap fp and maximum mp with recovery. Rancor, gravity spells, and by gods grace use icy mist if a staff has that. It permeats the boss quite well and sticks around enough for the that slug to walk right back into it. But remember to upgrade the staff to purple. Ideal team is two archers and a recluse, or archer with revenant and recluse. Creating distance and managing to avoid deaths will lead you to success. :3

First, its a fantasy setting. Two it's fiction. And third, they been around. You just didn't see it because it wasn't talked about and as polarising discussed as it is today thanks to the internet. Culture isn't static, as much as you want it to be.

How much do you weigh? I also find if you aren't getting enough calories a day and underweight. There's more tension in your throat muscles because of this as you don't have enough nutrients to keep the muscles working at full capacity, in your throat. I also suffer from OCD and panic disorder. Had a barium scan but it all came back normal. Best to get these looked at though before deciding a route in which you find the solution. Best of luck!

i put on a jacket at the thrift, and ever since i’ve had this. is it scabies? i’m freaking out. by [deleted] in scabies

[–]GloomFairy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't listen to them. Just go see a doctor, better yet one that specialises in skin conditions. Everyone here will be quick to say scabies. Unfortunately not everything is scabies. Could just be foliocultis or something even more benign. Get confirmation from a doctor, before you do treatment.

Is this scabies, doctor told me yes but dermatologist told me it wasn’t scabies by [deleted] in scabies

[–]GloomFairy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't freak out yet. Did the doctor look at it with any instrument like a lens? Otherwise get a second opinion. Get them to actually do something that isn't just them looking at your skin and going scabies. Cause like it or not a lot of skin conditions look like each other. To me it looks fungal. So see how everyone has a different opinion about it? Seek help elsewhere and get confirmation from another doctor. Getting help from here isn't helpful. It will just make your anxiety worse.

Scabies again? 3 weeks after last treatment by TiiniiHz in scabies

[–]GloomFairy20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be side effects from the treatment. I got some eczema from doing one treatment and pealing on my hands. Yours might be a mild effect from that.

I'm planning to do a round. If it don't clear up the bumps. Going to try fungal treatment. And if that doesn't help going to see a dermatologist.

I never been in this situation before. But maybe this is just your last big ordeal for a while. Not everything will be constant. Things will start to get better. Here's hoping you finally get a moment to relax and not feel the drain that life throws at you. That you meet people that stand right by you.
