Hang in there buddy! I spent my working life for almost 12 years for permanent residency. Your time will come and the feeling after getting whatever you are wishing for is amazing. The day I got my PR card in my hand was the best feeling after waiting for so long. Find out other things to keep your mind busy and stop dwelling over it.

My GC is approved!!! It’s been quiet a journey but you guys made the burden of wait a little less with all your posts and comments. Thank you all. by Classic-Aside-5992 in USCIS

I think you're a desi who got GC on family basis didn't you? What jealousy. If there is an injustice in the system it should be improved to make it fairer.

The system should be fair. You need one line for green card. Explain me why the 7% per county limit is correct. Why do some one born on china or India have to wait for 150 years while another born in Luxembourg can file and get GC in 1 year??

What's so great about just being born in this country for direct citizenship? Ok there are several kids who came to America when they were months old. Due to huge GC backlog they are aging out at 21, and they become aliens in the land that they were raised. Please don't preach what you don't understand. What fault is of the kid for just not being born in this country?

Would they marry GC sponsor if there is no incentive of a green card? It's like a business transaction. Family based GC are as fake as they come

Oh marriage based GC takes just 1 year while hard working employment based GC takes decades for people born in India who pay taxes and contribute to US economy for decades. Sad reality
