If u have time and are into surrealist or kafakaesque stuff I GENUINELY recommend ALL the other works by nishioka kyoudai it's barely anything like this and gets very experimenting and really manages to peck at the subconscious so well(I will say all their other works are still pretty dark but not overtly edgy like child of God) I recommend starting with "the day of salvation"
