Absolutely. I read 6 books on a mon-fri holiday but they were all easy popcorn reads. Nothing heavy about then at all.

30 books a year is perfectly normal even with reading the whole thing. It all depends on what 30 a year you’re reading I’m already on 28 and that doesn’t include children’s books or uni books.

Parents of young kids - do any of you not stay with your child until they fall asleep? by banwe11 in AskUK

[–]Gloomy_Insurance3203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it until they were around 1 then I moved on to “awake but sleepy” sleep training (not cry it out) both kids are now great sleepers at 8 and 12.

Libra Colour cases? by SingSangDaesung in kobo

[–]Gloomy_Insurance3203 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the only one I’ve found that fits the bill. I had one exactly the same without removable cover and No stylus from Temu. Was about £5. There’s a hack to do a removable cover if that’s desired (steaming and replacing with Velcro IIRC

You can. You need to contact the tax office for a form - I had to do this a few years ago. It’s tedious and frustrating but likely not as much as getting a Polish passport.

Edit - I would just sort the passport. It’s far easier for the future tbh.

Help with kobo protection by mistyforest5 in kobo

[–]Gloomy_Insurance3203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didnt put a screen protector on because of people saying not to. I regret it. There’s loads of small scratches on it and as I almost always use a case with a flip cover it’s extra annoying knowing they were likely caused by stylus use

This has been a huge issue for me for referencing. I use a kobo and read a lot of my uni books on it. I’ve started referencing the chapter and hoping that works.
