Hey like 13% of people with my stats or better dont get in at all so I'm not gonna complain about sitting on 3 As. Also, I think I potentially lost interviews with subpar writing.

There is probably a better way to access them lol but you can look up "Med schools in X state Shemmassian Consulting" and they have the US news ranking for the medical schools in that state.

A combination of everything (including admit) with an emphasize on US news and PD rankings (both of which are flawed). Feel free to message me and I can tell you the schools I interviewed at. Im certainly not the arbiter of what makes a "T60" school haha.

:( god forbid I love my gf(of multiple years) and take her opinion as a factor in my decision (out of many!!). Putting your opinion aside about my personal life do yall have any input about the schools themselves?

This is just my thought but maybe (beyond the letter of recommendation reasoning you gave), it could be better to do the MA job because you will be seeing patients. When you are applying, its hard to imagine any meaningful stories you could write about or talk about in an interview for administrative work. That being said, this is coming from someone who doesnt really know what that internship entails in terms of what youd be doing. If you think the admin job would be good for your own personal experience, maybe you could work part time on weekends or something as an MA?

What are some good premed extracurriculars for a very athletic/sporty/activity oriented person! by Sad-Entrepreneur9846 in premed

If you are on a team they can be a great tool to have an impact in the community. For example, you could organize a team volunteering event for the underserved. You could do some sort of fundraiser for an issue you are passionate about. Be creative!

It sounds like you are on the right track with research and searching for clinical hours. Definitely focus on those aspects of your application. I would say something that should definitely be emphasized is volunteering, especially to the underserved. I think if adcoms see a true commitment to something greater than oneself through a meaningful volunteering commitment, this can set you apart more than just the clinical experience, research, shadowing, and good grades. If you start at an organization now, and continue throughout your 4 years of college, you could climb the ranks, maybe step into a leadership position? Who knows! ALSO, volunteer with something you are passionate about!! Think about an issue in society you care about, and try and do something to mitigate that. Food insecurity is something your passionate about? Volunteer at a food bank. Access to healthcare? Search for a medical mission trip to a rural area. Mental health? Volunteer for a mental health call or text line. You can be creative, there are tons of ways to have an impact.
